My wife and I chose this operator because, after contacting several others, this one made a great impression on us—and we weren't wrong. Going on safari with this operator was the best decision we could have made. Everything went exactly as planned, and the experience was truly rewarding. Vasco stayed in touch with us throughout the safari and was incredibly attentive; he is a very friendly person who was a huge help to us. Our safari guide, Rocky, was a fantastic companion over those five days and a wonderful person. Thanks to him, we saw a vast array of wildlife and learned a great deal about this magnificent country. Magical experience
We were lucky enough to observe the animals in their natural habitat. Thanks to our fantastic guide (Eric), we were able to see them up close, and we highly recommend this experience. We opted to camp for three nights; the positives included meeting wonderful people, enjoying great meals, having animals right by our tents, and truly immersing ourselves in the experience. However, there are a few things to keep in mind: you live in close quarters with the group all day (shared meals and communal showers—which weren't always clean and had insects, plus inconsistent hot water and no power outlets for charging phones). Regarding logistics, our guide unfortunately had vehicle trouble (it happens), so our schedule changed a bit; sometimes we only received updates that very morning, though we were never left in the lurch. We were only informed after arriving in Africa that we needed to bring our own pillows and warm clothing... But hey, Hakuna Matata!
