OOMBE crafted an 8-day, 7-night journey through Namibia, flawlessly integrating iconic highlights -Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, Sesriem, Walvis Bay, Dune 45, Big Daddy, sand-boarding, and more-alongside a breathtaking sunset horseback ride and an authentic visit to the Himba tribe in Spitzkoppe -all handled with deep respect and cultural sensitivity.
The lodges were stunning, the wildlife sightings unforgettable, and every detail was impeccably organized. OOMBE's guides Cliff and "Tange" were patient, punctual, responsive, and went above and beyond. Most importantly, as an organization, they exemplify ethical, respectful cultural tourism-l appreciated working with a local, women-owned business to create an authentic, luxurious experience. The love was truly in the details. I cannot recommend OOMBE enough-if you want a truly exquisite, safe, and meaningful journey, this is your agency. For a solo woman traveler the peace of mind was worth the price of admission!
Namibia is a special, otherworldly place; providing the luxury of SPACE and magical beauty that are not to be missed. As a side note, if you can, please bring things to donate. It's nice to give back! Solar lamps can easily be packed in your carry on bag and really make a world of difference to people in the desert areas who live without light. It's also nice to bring se supplies or purchase them in one of the supermarkets in Windhoek. Just go!
