excellent communication
I connected with Mimak Travel in September 2026 for a last-minute Maasai Mara trip and David worked his magic to arrange a fabulous safari. Our group was arriving in 6 days and he took care of everything. From the Nairobi hotel pickup to Wilson Airport, our lovely camp hosts and airline crew, we met many kind people on our adventure. David customized our game drives, arranged a late camp checkout, and kept in communication with our safari driver, Peter, to make sure everything ran smoothly. We saw so many animals! and Peter was a safe and knowledgeable driver out in the savannah. I appreciated the WhatsApp group chat with his staff for any questions or issues. David was incredibly resourceful when I lost my wallet hours before my flight back to the USA. While I locked my credit cards and flew 22 hours home, he spoke with our safari driver, private airline crew, taxi driver, and the camp hotel staff to look for the wallet. David was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make all those calls and follow through while I was in the air. Mimak Travel exceeded my expectations for this spontaneous trip; I would definitely recommend! They are an incredible and hard working team. Excellent coordination, professional communication, and seamless itinerary. Booked a private tour for my family at Nairobi National Park that was the highlight of our time in Kenya. Will definitely recommend.
Wow! What a trip and what an experience
David Mabingu and his team did a stellar job of supporting us through the whole process from before the start, all the way through to the end. We did the 9 day Kenyan and Tanzanian safari, as well as including a balloon safari over the Masai Mara. Highlights were the Great Migration, witnessing the crossing of the Mara River, and ample sightings of 4 of the Big 5 (Leopard eluded us once more!). Communications with David and his team were very good, service was outstanding through some considerable challenges, and I consider the whole safari very good value for money. Our guides were superb and very knowledgeable, and keen to share their considerable knowledge. But, be prepared for rough dirt roads, extensive time in the Land Cruiser and plenty of dust. But to the plus, if you've a hankering to see wild Africa and all the attendant wildlife up close, this is the trip for you. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had an unforgettable safari organized by Mimak Travel. From the very beginning, communication was clear and professional and every detail of our trip was handled smoothly. The itinerary covered both Tsavo East and Tsavo West, giving us a perfect balance of landscapes and wildlife.
Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and made sure we didn’t miss any highlights from elephants and lions in Tsavo East to the stunning scenery of Tsavo West. The accommodation was comfortable and everything ran exactly as promised.
We felt well taken care of throughout the journey and the experience exceeded our expectations. Mimak Travel truly delivered a seamless and memorable safari. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well organized adventure in Kenya!
