Kale Voyage Expeditions is very highly recommended; they clearly earned and get a 10/10!

We have wanted to go on a safari to the Serengeti and neighboring areas for many years. After looking at both American and local African companies, we chose Kale (pronounced “Kahleh”). We are glad we did. Here is why:

The safari guides (in our case Sammi and Festo) were exceptionally nice, knowledgeable, and service-oriented without being “over the top.” They knew exactly where to find the wild animals we wanted to see and more! They were punctual, helpful, and just very personable and friendly. They were nice to talk to and also gave us space to sometimes just enjoy being quiet.

We saw all the “Big 5” and more, many on the first day of our tour! This was amazing.

We had two picnic lunches in the national parks. This was with tables, tablecloths, great food, and (our own) wine! WOW!

The hotels chosen by Oscar were exceptionally nice, clean, and impressive at a very fair price. The food they served was excellent! The views very amazing; one overlooked a large swath of the Serengeti with 180-degree views.

The jeeps were large and comfortable.

Perhaps best of it all: If you book with Kale, you get the entire Jeep to yourself; you don’t have to share with strangers.

The season and price were great, and we got to photograph a lot of animals, including some unexpected ones not advertised. The guide was also very alert and friendly, and various wild animals frequently appeared outside the tent.

Oscar from Kale Voyage Expeditions was patient and responsive with my many questions during the booking process. Kale Voyage Expeditions tailored a safari to suit my needs. My day in Ngorongoro and my day in Lake Manyara were made even better by two great guides. They both made sure I saw many animals, both were informative and engaging. My night at Suricata Boma Lodge was fabulous. The room was clean and spacious. Loved, loved, loved my 2 day 1 night safari with Kale Voyage Expeditions.

I had a 1-day safari to the Tarangire national park. The service was excellent. I was picked up on time from the hotel. We also had a good lunch inside the park. We also saw a lot of animals including zebras, giraffe, lions, elephants, buffalos, mongoose, impalas ets. The driver was very attentive makinf stops on demand and giving as as much time as we needed.
