Better than we could have imagined

We had a fantastic experience with Morningstar. We had issues with our flight and lost time on our scheduled safari, but the team did everything they could to make sure we got to experience everything on our itinerary.

Our guide, Gabriel, went above and beyond to maximize our time on our trip. He worked hard and made sure we saw everything but we didn’t feel rushed at all. We learned more from him in a few days than we had on our entire 2 week trip in Africa! He was so nice, very funny and informative, always on time, and made sure our itinerary was exactly what we wanted (especially given the shortened trip). Having a good safari guide makes all the difference and we are very grateful we had Gabriel.

Our safari with Morningstar was fantastic from start to finish. The team is responsive, helpful, and incredibly kind. The booking process could not have gone smoother and the options we were given for safari tours and accommodations were fantastic!

The real highlight has been our guide, Gabriel. He has a wealth of knowledge that he happily shares and is incredibly kind. We saw everything we wanted to see and more, thanks to him. He can (and will) get you anywhere in your safari vehicle!!

An extraordinary experience with lasting memories

We felt well advised by Morning Star, both during the planning stages and throughout our trip. Our guide and driver was extremely knowledgeable and a very pleasant companion.
We also had a brief opportunity to meet the people at Morning Star who handle the work behind the scenes. We appreciate their approach of supporting local communities. Based on our experience, we can certainly recommend Morning Star with confidence.

The most incredible, funny and caring tour operator!

I had the absolute best time doing the Maasai Mara tour with James from Morning Star - he was very kind, funny and easy to talk to. He is also incredibly talented at his job and was able to drive in tough conditions very smoothly. His attention to detail is amazing and he was able to spot animals like the cheetah from soo far away! I felt to lucky to have seen sooo many animals during the tour, and it is all thanks to James - thank you so much :) I am going to recommend James and Morning Star to everyone and look forward to coming back and doing it again myself, with my family

Highly Effective & Efficient

We had a great experience and got to see basically every animal we wanted to, even the elusive big cats (leopard, cheetah, lion). Our driver Timothy was amazing! He was such an experienced, efficient, effective driver, easily shaving off 30+ minutes when getting between national parks. He was a friendly guide and exceptionally knowledgeable about the best places to see all the animals. He was kind and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

If I had one constructive feedback, it would be that I'd hope the tour guide be more informative to tell us details and fun facts about where we're going and seeing, but we still had a fantastic time and I'd definitely still recommend Morningstar as well as our driver.
