We booked a budget safari that included camping.

We discussed the tour and the nature of the overnight accommodations via email and WhatsApp beforehand; all our questions were answered very quickly.

We were initially unsure because there is no official office address in Arusha, but we verified the company's legitimacy using tools like ChatGPT.

The safari itself was simply breathtaking. The guides selected for the trip were outstanding.

The accommodations were excellent, too. The tents were clean and light-proof. Importantly for the Ngorongoro area, they also retain heat better than standard tents.

We did experience some minor issues regarding transparency—though this is sometimes simply "typical" for the region.

We never knew exactly where our campsites would be, as only general regions were specified. Also, our safari started in Tarangire, even though the Serengeti had been the original plan.

The new itinerary made more sense—and I understood the logic behind it—but it would have been better if this change had been communicated to us.

All in all, though, I highly recommend it. We couldn't find a cheaper provider for Tanzania; comparing prices with other members of the group confirmed that we paid significantly less.

The tour was good. The staff is kind, the chef and the driver where really kind too.
We did it by tend camp and we really liked to be part of the Savana with the Zebras walking around the camp.

A unique experience

I participated in a four-day safari tour. Animals came close to the campsite, and when I woke up in the morning, I saw a large lion walking around. We visited three national parks and were able to see so many animals. We were able to get up close to the animals, and each one offered a different way to enjoy it, which was wonderful.
A chef accompanied us, so we had hot, delicious meals every day. My birthday was during the safari, so the chef surprised me by making me a cake to celebrate.
Safaris can be expensive, but Clerisa is much cheaper than other agents and I highly recommend it.
