Tony has to be the best tour guide because we still communicate 6 hours apart, 5 months later!

Like I was told by my French tour mates and what I know now, I got lucky and was blessed to go on Tony Mobile Safari. Honestly, I don’t know if I can go with another company.
I had never been a Safari before and didn’t know what to expect or prepare for. Communication with Tony through WhatsApp call gave me the opportunity to ask questions of things I need to bring. The time that I’m free to take vacations are around late May and June. Tony reminded me that in The Bush that time of year in Botswana it is the winter season, bring cold gear. A definite life saver because my Florida thin blood could not take early mornings without proper clothing.
Once the tour started, I never wanted it to stop. A 10-day tour to 3 different parks were magnificent. We saw a different animal every single day of the tour. 2nd day in the morning we saw a lion pride hunt of zebras ahead while the king walked right beside us. Tony and staff easily explaining all questions (i. e. “How do you know the difference between a male leopard and female leopard prints?”). The patience and eagle eye sight to find the animals and explain what they do and how they do it.
Our military style tents were spacious, firm, and The Bush showers and toilet was the best experience. A homemade hot shower around lunch was better than a locker room. The food made by chef Ronald for breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious. Even the dessert that I normally try to take it easy on, had to be eaten because it was so good.
Again, listening to my other mates that had been on other Safaris expressed how lucky I was because Botswana has a plethora of animals and you don’t have to fight for position to see them because the country is not overcrowded with Industry companies. Starting each day seeing multiple giraffes, elephants, zebras and springbok was amazing. Then the awesomeness of seeing 2 lions eating a dead elephant, a family of pumba’s, hippos running on the river floor and a leopard that walked between our jeeps was all I could ask for.
Not only do I highly recommend Tony Mobile Safaris, I will be taking one again very soon.

A 4-day , 3-night trip to Chobe - including 1 night in Savuti - with Tony and his team. It was a fantastic experience ! We saw so much wildlife
Tony is an excellent guide - passionate and patient - and he knew exactly where to find the best viewing spots.
The camp was great, with confortable tents : thanks to Ben for the organization and the hot shower !
Thanks also to the amazing Chef Ronald for his « protocole « and excellent meals !
In short, everything was wonderful : humor, good spirits and, above all , professionalism.
I recommend it 100 % !

Unbelievable safari, but a big flop at the end

Very competent team (guide, factotum, cheaf). Ten days in the bush. All the wild animals (except rhino) near 4x4, and heard during the nights.
But no mokoro on the Okavango, and the bigest disappointment : no more available time to go at Victoria Falls, before departure. Program not respected. It's not worthy for a professional organizer !!!

A magical 10 days safari experience with Tony , 100% recommended

We had a fantastic first safari 11 days experience thanks to Tony and his team, with 4 members family and a friend. Tony is a great person who built his own company organizing safari, a remarkable guide and tracker, who demonstrates high respect for the wildlife, a great knowledge of animals and nature conservation; He is very professional and service oriented, with a good sense of humour. He is also familiar with photography and understands well amateur and professional photographers needs. The camp was very well organized by Ronnie and Ben, with Ronnie cooking very good and diverse meals . The tents are confortable, with separate shower /toilet area in each tent. We started from Maun, 4 different parks/area : Makgadikgadi, Savuti, Chobe , and morning in Victoria Falls, flight back from Zimbawe, 2 nights in lodge in Maun, 1 night before departure, all other nights in tent camp. Daily schedule is flexible, in our case we started with 6:00 AM wake up , looked for wildlife in the morning, back at the camp in the warmer hours for lunch and free time, and safari again from 16:30 to sunset around 18:15, then dinner at the camp. We could observe every possible animals , Tony found them and followed them when possible, with patience , a strong sense of tracking and observation, and expert knowledge of the parks. We warmly recommend Tony as an exceptional safari organizer and guide , he is also very respected by other guides we could meet along the way. The safari experience was great, and we were alone most of the time , or with very few cars around, which was appreciated as Tony favours uncrowded area and a genuine safari experience. The overall value for money for this safari was very good, the service offered by Tony Mobile was very reliable. We also highly recommend Bostwana as a country, with great people, and for its unspoiled nature and a very diverse wildlife. We recommend Tony Mobile Safari 100% and more !

Reliable, considerate, local, knowledgeable, would choose again!

We chose Tony Mobile Safari based on availability, package content, price and reviews. We wanted a versatile safari experience of 3 nights during the New Year and were happy to find an option offering a boat cruise on Chobe River, 1 night in Chobe National Park and 2 nights in Savuti. We preferred choosing a local and independent company, although it seemed like a bit of a gamble due to payment in advance. Everything went completely smoothly, though, and we were left feeling ecstatic with no complaints whatsoever. High recommendation to anyone travelling to Kasane for a safari adventure!

Our guide, Mabuta ("Jack"), is among the best in the business for sure! Very knowledgeable and quick to identify different animal species, full of funny and interesting facts and anecdotes, and an obvious passion and respect for nature. He was also incredibly considerate (or he could read our minds) as he stopped the Land Cruiser and was very patient in letting us observe different animals and plants from elephants to dung beetles without rushing (which is what we have experienced with some other companies). We managed to see a lot, thanks to Mabuta's excellent tracking skills and top class bush rally driving skills. Even driving bumpy and swerving tire tracks at full speed, he always warned us of bushes and tree branches. We found two lionesses with their cubs snoozing in the shade of a tree, completely obscured from view from the road. We also made it in time to see a leopard and a pack of eight African wild dogs spotted by another accomplished guide.

Our accommodation was assembled by Disha and tasty vegetarian food cooked in abundance by Ta. We were very comfortable in our tent with army style cots for beds and an adjacent bathroom (warm shower available!). We also felt very safe as the team was so sharp in recognising animal calls but had a calm and confident demeanor. The Land Cruiser had a fridge so there was always plenty of cold water and space for soft drinks, yoghurt, etc. Second breakfasts and tea breaks were enjoyed at specific locations in the nature reserve with excellent views of e.g. a hippo in his pond or a dazzle of zebras.
