Very disappointing

Sadly we didn’t book with this company but instead got switched to them the night before our safari trip.

I’m sure the positive reviews are for people that gut the trip they were offered. We had a mix of 3 & 4 day safari bookings so our well planned trip turned into a nightmare trying to accommodate a 3 day tour with different accommodation to ours meaning very little time on a game drive.

Our driver (he was not a guide as was not interested in telling us any information, more interested in texting permanently) was not interested at all.

One day the truck broke down three times only being fixed when another driver came to our aid to fix it. These things happen, but Not once were we told what was happening leading to people worrying about being stuck in the middle of nowhere.

Communication was very poor throughout. One day we didn’t even stay in the camp we were meant to but again weren’t told anything.

Overall a very poor experience compared to the many other safari trips we have taken with other companies

Super WOW Safari Experience

An excellent experience: three days immersed in nature with an excellent guide, who carefully observed the animals' every move and provided us with a wealth of information about the different species and their habits. We slept under the stars in a tent among the animals, and when we woke up, we found an elephant in our campsite.
The food service was also excellent; the chef was attentive to the needs of the entire group, and the food was fresh and delicious every day.
The agency staff was extremely helpful in organizing the experience and managing all the transportation.
Highly recommended, also for the excellent value.

We did the 5-day mid-range safari back in October, visiting Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, and the experience was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. Our guide, Amiri, was exceptional and truly made the trip unforgettable. His ability to spot animals from miles away was incredible — we got to see so many animals up close, some of which we never imagined we’d encounter in the wild.

The whole experience, from the communication with the company to the accommodations, food, and organization, was flawless. Everything was well thought out, and we felt truly cared for throughout the trip.

A safari has always been a dream of mine, but I never thought I’d have the opportunity to experience it in such a spectacular way. I’m so glad I chose Suricata Safaris for this adventure — it’s been the trip of a lifetime, and I would recommend this company to anyone looking to embark on an unforgettable safari journey.

Simply sensational! Gerald, our driver, and Tito, the cook, were spectacular.

Gerald, the driver, is simply amazing behind the wheel, and on top of that, he's a fantastic guide! He provides important information about all the places and animals, as well as the history of the Maasai people and the names given to the locations. Not to mention he has eagle eyes! He could spot animals from so far away and guide us right to them. As for Tito… wow, the food was great! Zero complaints about the meals he prepared, not to mention his friendliness! Simply sensational. The entire Suricata Safari organization was also fantastic, completely prepared, from our arrival at the airport to our return. I highly recommend them!!

I got a quote through the website but then contacted them via WhatsApp. The service was quick, and all the information was given right away. In other words, the booking process is very fast, easy, and secure. We chose the safari in November, which is said to be the rainy season, but we were lucky enough to not have a single rainy day. Everything was perfect, and we had no problems. From our arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, where a driver was already waiting for us, to the accommodation in Arusha (impressive), the great breakfast, and the very attentive staff. We chose to stay at the camps for the safari days, and three days in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were prepared by Chef Tito, always very good, with excellent seasoning and a varied menu. Our guide/driver, Gerald, was the best guide in all of Tanzania. In short, do the safari with them. You won't regret it and you'll have the best experience in the world!
