Excellent photo opportunities across Serengeti & Ngorongoro

We chose Suricata Safaris for a short 3-day midrange circuit and the wildlife viewing exceeded expectations. Jeremy understood camera positioning very well, ensuring everyone got unobstructed angles of lions and cheetahs along the tracks. The midrange lodges provided comfortable rooms with working charging facilities for our equipment. Ngorongoro crater floor on the final morning was the perfect wrap-up to the trip.

Amazing Experience

The Safari was great, we saw lots and lots of animals thanks to our amazing guide Geralt who was really kind, informative and experienced. Food was great as well all the times.

The only thing that wasn't perfect was that we got grouped with four other people that only did 3 days (we did 4 days), so the itinerary drifted from the originally planned one. So our schedule had to be adapted to theirs, which resulted in longer driving times, more times at the camps and switching groups for the last day.

dusty drives but amazing wildlife encounters

The 5 day group camping package with Suricata Safaris covers a huge amount of ground. Be prepared for long, dusty roads between Arusha, Lake Manyara, and the Serengeti plains. Jeremy was driving our group—he kept the vehicle steady and knew exactly where to spot elephant families near the water. The campsite facilities were pretty basic, but the meals prepared by the cook were hot and hearty. Good value if you don't mind roughing it a bit in tents.

Gerald really went all the way to give us all the best experience

We did a 3 day safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro and had the best time. Our guide Gerald did the best to help us see the Big Five which we did. Everything was arranged perfect; transport, accommodations, food and exceeded our expectations.

Better than expected! It was amazing.

It was truely amazing. Had a wonderful experience with guide Gerald. He knows so much about the animals, and tells the stories with so much joy! Due to all his experience about the surroundings, we got to see the big 5 and so much more (cheetahs, giraffes, hyenas). If you’re doubting on going, just go. It will be al worth it!
