Absolutely unforgettable Safari experience with Lion King Adventures

Everything about our safari (5 nights / 6 days in Arusha, Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti) planned, managed and executed by Lion King Adventures was simply perfect.

During the initial planning phase, they provided outstanding support in designing our safari. They offered complete flexibility to customize the itinerary according to our preferences while also providing valuable suggestions and advice that ultimately resulted in a perfect travel plan. Special thanks to Riziki, who assisted us throughout this phase.

Before the trip, everything was handled in a clear, simple and professional manner by the post-booking team, especially Nickson, who always communicated promptly and clearly, giving us great confidence in the excellent organization of the safari.

The safari itself was truly a dream experience.

All the accommodations were exceptional, and the people hosting us were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We always felt at home. The locations, which we already expected to be beautiful, exceeded our expectations by far. The food was also excellent, both at dinner in the lodges and during lunch breaks in the bush. Instead of the usual lunch boxes, we were always served delicious hot meals prepared by the lodges, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

The jeep was beautiful, comfortable and perfectly maintained. I was particularly impressed by its ability to absorb the bumps and roughness of the off-road tracks. The interior was spotless, very clean and all seats were equipped with comfortable cushions that made long game drives much more enjoyable. In addition, hand sanitizer, charging outlets and a refrigerator stocked with plenty of cold water and soft drinks were always available, making every journey extremely comfortable.

Finally, our guide Mkwanda was the true highlight of our safari. Thanks to him, we were able to see all of the Big Five, as well as countless other animals and breathtaking landscapes. From the very beginning, he made us feel comfortable and at ease. We particularly appreciated his approach: highly professional, yet friendly, polite and approachable. He was not only an outstanding guide but also an excellent driver, always able to position the vehicle in exactly the right place for the best wildlife sightings. He was also a great planner, giving us flexibility in organizing our days while providing clear and well-reasoned guidance whenever needed. Thanks to his careful planning, we always reached the lodges before sunset, allowing us time to relax and fully enjoy these beautiful places after a full day of game drives.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Mkwanda and the entire Lion King Adventures team to anyone planning a safari in Northern Tanzania. It was truly one of the best travel experiences of my life.

This was one of the best experiences of my life. We had Emmanuel Chamboa as our guide (and driver) for a 3-days private safari covering Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park. Emmanuel is a great driver, and he's a really polite and gentle person. He patiently asked all our questions regarding the wildlife we saw, and he has a gift to spot the animals in the park (even those that are harder to find). If I ever have the chance to come back to Tanzania, I will definitively try to have Emmanuel as a guide

Incredible attention to detail

We contacted quite a few safari companies before our trip, but chose Lion King Adventures because they really listened to what we wanted and gave us an excellent value quote.

Everything about the trip was fantastic, from the accommodation to the seamless organisation and thoughtful touches like complimentary drinks in the safari jeep. We felt completely looked after from start to finish.

But a safari really depends on the guide, and we were incredibly lucky to have Emmanuel Chamboa as ours.

Emmanuel was absolutely fantastic. He was fun, warm and easy to spend time with, but also incredibly organised and knowledgeable. His knowledge of the animals and the parks was impressive, and it was obvious that he genuinely cared about giving us the best possible experience. He was constantly paying attention to what was happening around us, looking carefully for animals and picking up on things we would have completely missed ourselves. You could really see how much experience he had and how much he enjoyed what he was doing.

Most importantly, we felt completely safe and cared for throughout the trip. Emmanuel really embodied pole pole, taking things at the right pace and allowing us to properly enjoy the experience. That relaxed approach made such a difference.

We would absolutely recommend Lion King Adventures, particularly if you are lucky enough to have Emmanuel as your guide. He made an already wonderful trip genuinely special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better safari experience.

We were extremely satisfied with the entire safari experience. The tour was very well organized, the service was excellent, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our guide was friendly, attentive, and always made every effort to ensure that we were as satisfied as possible. The quality of the experience was outstanding and we felt that it offered great value for money. We would absolutely recommend this tour and would book with them again!
