Going green safari was Founded in 2013, was created when a few small but extremely highly regarded owner- Lenard Mosha, from Marangu - Moshi Kilimanjaro region. Although the office is located in Dar –es –salaam South of Tanzania. At the moment going green safari has total of 10 staffs, including of 5 professional guides who are also professional drivers. Over the years we have carefully cultivated a successful blend of professional business and unique bush expertise that delivers world-class safari experiences.

We went on our honeymoon with my wife to go on a Safari in Mikumi and everything was perfect from the time they picked us up at the hotel until they took us back. Lenny's kindness was incredible and the stay at Camp Bastian luxury. We were greeted with a message in the room that said "welcome honey mooners"... Read more and it was very exciting. And most importantly, the safari seemed like a dream. The guide we had made us see four of the "big five". We have seen zebras, giraffes, antelopes, wallabies, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, wild boars, leopards, crocodiles, etc. I really recommend this safari for all those who want to live a luxury experience in Tanzania. I hope we can come back soon!

I had a good experience at Mikumi National Park, even though it was a rainy day.
My driver was kind and paid attention to my needs.
My tour guide at Mikumi was knowledgeable. He told me a lot about the animals, so I learned a lot.
As for the hotel I stayed at, there was only one issue: the... Read more Wi-Fi was weak throughout the entire hotel. I couldn't use Wi-Fi in my room. Everything else was great—comfortable bed, nice meals, and a great shower.

I did the three-day Mikumi Safari and had a wonderful time. My driver was early to pick me up at my hotel, and I was safe throughout the trip. Once at the lodge where I stayed (Camp Bastian Lodge), I was well taken care of, and the room was comfortable with a good bed, air-conditioning, and a mini-fridge.... Read more

The hotel's meals were buffet-style, so there was food for all tastes. While on safari in Mikumi National Park, the driver and guide were thoughtful and did their best to ensure I saw as many animals and birds as possible. They are knowledgeable about the park, the animals, the plants/ trees, and the local traditions.

If I am lucky enough to be in Tanzania again, I would not hesitate to use Going Green Safaris to explore other regions of the country.

We had an incredible time on our 6 day Safari organized by Lenard at Going Green Safari. We saw so much amazing wildlife, and got to experience the real Tanzania. Alfonce was a great driver, we felt so safe with him. And Tiko our guide was so knowledgeable, he answered all of our questions and knew so much, his English was very good, he was so professional for someone so young! We learnt so much from him about the wildlife and the Tanzania culture.
