An unforgettable experience!

We accessed the services of the Zambezi Expedition Travel and Tours agency at the end of June, beginning of July 2026.
From the moment of the first contacts by email until the end of the trip, we had a fair offer, punctuality and dedication from the Zambezi team, all of which ensured a wonderful trip in a safe climate, good mood and a source of very useful information.
During the 10 days we had Francis with us, a young but experienced guide, open to our requests and attentive to all the details so that we felt very good. Thank you Captain Zebra, you have remained in our hearts!
Alongside him, in Chobe we had Tshepy, an extraordinary animal expert with a remarkable desire to help us see as much as possible and experience the atmosphere of Chobe Park.
In the last decade we had Vincent with us who helped us explore the beauties of Victoria Falls, see the most incredible rainbows and hear the stories related to the dreamland between Zimbabwe and Zambia.
This review would not be complete if we did not mention the warm-hearted team that guided us through the Okavango Delta, showing special hospitality.
The host team was coordinated by the inexhaustible Oskar who we could confidently call on for any express request.

Good quality small group good on a budget. Great value for money.
Me and my partner did the 9 day budget camping safari from Vic falls through to the Okovango Delta in June. We absolutely loved the company we chose - excellent communication, transparency and very accomodating. Their goal was to give us the best possible experience. If you are wanting a small group safari we would highly recommend. We were in a group of 3-5 people total so we have a very intimate experience with our guides and the company. Company operator Silence and Francis our guide throughout were both amazing. We loved spending time with Francis through different stages of our journey, and Silence organised everything in the background so well - it was a very smooth trip.
Vic falls and Chobe National Park were definitely the highlight - we saw an incredible amount of animals at Chobe - more than we ever expected. We saw lions, hippos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons and plenty of birdlife.. the list does go on! The guides were exceptional and got us up close and personal with the animals safely.
We loved our experience in elephant sands even though we only saw a few elephants by the waterhole. We added an extra game drive for $40 USD which was very worthwhile and we saw many elephants. The Okovango Delta was a very different safari experience alltogether which we didn't expect. You are taken out on Mokoro (small canoes) through the delta and to an island in the Savannah for a wild camping experience. This was a much slower pace compared to the start of the trip as you only see animals by the Mokoro or by foot on a Walking Safari. The experience was more about being in nature rather than seeing the animals so need to be prepared for that. I think we would have preferred having done the Okovango Delta at the start of the the trip and finishing in Vic falls. But we loved the experience of being in nature and hearing all the animals at night.
We were very impressed by the standard of accomodation and food even though we chose the budget camping option. It was far better than we expected.
Highly recommend Zambesi Expeditions for anyone looking to do a good quality small group good on a budget.

Professional, Reilable, Flexible and Value for Money
I booked multiple tours with Zambezi Expedition Travel and Tours and they execeded my expectations every day and every trip. It's a professionally run company by a former tourism professional and a experienced guide who personally takes care of your needs. The office staff Mrs. Silence is quick in responding to your needs. The driver Francis is always on time, drives you safely and they have very good vehicles and tourism partners in neighbouring countries. I did a day trip to CHOBE NATIONAL PARK and was able to see plenty of wild animals in the two game drives in land and water during the day. I also had the company arrange me for the VICTORIA FALLS TOUR with an excellent guide Vincent who was a good photographer too. I did the ZAMBEZI SUNSET CRUISE, the best experience among all was WALKING WITH THE LIONS EXPERIENCE , two evenings they arranged for the THE BOMA DRUM & DINNER SHOW and SIBUNYE the live theatre show. They also arranged for my AIRPORT TRANSFERS and HOTEL ACCOMODATION. All of the above were arranged perfectly by ZAMBEZI EXPEDITION, TRAVEL & TOURS. I would highly recommend to use their services for a worry free and value for money holiday in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana. A big thanks to the owner Mr. Oscar who made my trip the most memorable

I would like to thank Zambezi Expedition Travel and Tours team: Oscar, Silence, our guides Francis, Vincent, Felix and others for the great experience that we had during our first safari tour. We followed advice of our son who booked his tour 6 months before with the same agency and enjoyed it a lot. Our individual program was well planned and tailored to our requests, transfers were on time and well organized, accomodation well selected. Visiting three countries, Zimbanwe, Zambia and Botswana, in 8 days we never regreted booking directly with the local agency, always felt secure and taken care of, and definitely want to continue exploring Africa thanks to the flawless execution of our first trip.
