My dream came true with Benson

We had planned and booked a private trip with Benson.
On the Lemosho route to Uhuru Peak.
Everything went perfectly from start to finish: Benson tailored the tour exactly as we had hoped.
Communication from Germany was flawless; last-minute requests were always answered promptly and very kindly.
The team on the trek was welcoming and always in good spirits. We felt well cared for; we lacked nothing.
Of course, a tent isn't a luxury hotel, but the team did everything they could to ensure our comfort. I can't fathom how the cook managed to conjure up such delicious meals under those conditions.
On summit day, the weather was extremely bad: it snowed, and we battled our way to the top for nine hours. The guides led us safely to the summit. They lovingly encouraged me whenever I was about to give up.
I'm at a loss for words to express what a magnificent experience it all was. I am grateful for the wonderful collaboration with the entire Benson team.
This was already the second trip we've taken with Benson. In 2024, we spent 10 days on safari with him. And should we return to Tanzania a third time, Benson will again be our contact.

Great safari experience with Benson!

We did a 6 day safari tour with Benson and it was great. Communication was effective, Benson is a really nice guy.
Our guide, Simba, was also very professional and has a lot of years of experience.
We saw the big 5 and many other animals.
The experience in the lodges was also nice, some better than others though.
Good value for money.

Would recommend!

Incredible experience!

We had the most incredible safari in Tanzania with Benson Safaris, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

From the very beginning, they tailored the entire trip exactly to what we wanted. They were always available to answer our questions before and during the trip, constantly checking in and making sure everything was perfect. That level of care and attention made us feel completely at ease.

Exploring the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, we saw more animals than we could have ever imagined, lions, elephants, giraffes, and so much more. Our guide, Liberatus, was truly fantastic, so knowledgeable, and passionate. He made every game drive exciting and shared incredible insights about the wildlife and surroundings.

We especially loved that Benson is locally owned. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and we can’t recommend them highly enough.

Great Experience!

We went on a week-long safari with Bensons in February and are extremely satisfied! The safari exceeded all our expectations. We saw all the major animal species found there and learned a lot about the animals, nature, and their protection in the national parks. A big thank you goes to Simba, our excellent guide! He knew an incredible amount and answered all our many questions patiently and with a wealth of background knowledge and experience.
The lodges were also great without exception, surrounded by nature, all with Wi-Fi, hot water, mosquito nets in mosquito areas, and comfortable beds. The staff was very attentive and there were usually varied buffets.
Our tour included the Tarangire, Ndutu, and Serengeti National Parks, as well as the Ngorongoro Crater. We highly recommend it all. Bensons put together a great itinerary for us and made all our wishes come true. Thank you very much, we will definitely be back!

Me and my friend had an outstanding experience with Bensons Safaris.

From the first contact to the last day, everything was handled professionally. We chose the all inclusive package, and it delivered exactly what was promised. No surprises. No stress. Just a well organized safari where we could focus on the experience.

Our driver, Liberatus, was exceptional, hats off to him. Calm, knowledgeable, and fully in control. He managed expectations well and made sure every day ran smoothly. You could feel his experience. He know when to wait, when to move, sometimes VERY fast but safe, and how to position the vehicle for the best views. That matters.

The stay in Karatu at Eileens Lodge was a five star moment. Service minded staff. Smiling faces. Clean rooms and GREAT food. After a long day out, it was the perfect landing place to recharge.

If you want a safari that is structured, reliable and delivered with care, I can confidently recommend Benson Safaris. They earned full credit. Top notch.
