Safe, reliable and flexible
We completed an amazing 4 days tour with Solomon that included chimp trekking, gorilla trekking, a cultural tour and a visit to Lake Bunyonyi. We have been wanting to do this for years and it couldn’t have been better especially with Solomon to accompany us. He provided us with great knowledge and safely drove us from location to location. We felt very much at ease with Solomon by our side.

Uganda rocks
I was undecided about whether to go gorilla trekking in Rwanda or Uganda. I am glad I chose Uganda. Uganda is even more beautiful than Rwanda and feels a bit more like "real" Africa. And there is no need to worry about Ebola; there is actually no risk, since you only have contact with your guide. I want to give a huge shout-out to my guide. His name was Benjamin. He was incredibly attentive. Whenever I needed any kind of help, he would suddenly appear right behind me. And when necessary, he knew how to take charge. A true leader.

“General” Julius made our tour outstanding from the moment he picked us up at the airport.
Julius is very knowledgeable and always had an answer for our questions. He also had a great ability to know when to make changes anticipating we would be tired. Julius was very attentive and made sure we were safe at all times. He was never far when we made a restroom stop.
We had a minor medical emergency and he responded to our text within seconds and arrived with a doctor in less than 20 minutes.
The accommodations, food and destinations were excellent and we were very satisfied with our experience. We had so much fun that the 12 days went by so fast! We 100% recommend Dav Safaris, with Julius as the guide and specifically in Uganda. It’s a beautiful country with lots to see and we always felt safe, even wandering around on our own.

Provided exactly what we signed up for
We did a 4 day safari, doing both the gorillas and chimpanzees.
Transfers were smooth and vehicle was comfortable with ample water always provided. Due to permit timings, our tour was actually done in reverse order but that was communicated to us and worked out fine. The accomodation we had was lovely. Communication in the lead up was okay, they told us everything we needed to know but nothing extra.
Shever was our guide / driver and was great! He was very personable and knowledgeable. He was always on time for pickups and gave clear outlines of what to expect for the day. If we were to do this again, we would love to have him.
