African Big Cats Safari is the best tour operator there is. They are local so they know the ins and outs of Tanzania. They catered to everything wanted and they hand down handled it perfectly. Communication from beginning to end is amazing considering the 7hrs time difference. Being this is our first African trip, I was anxious and a bit all over the place. I told them what I need and wanted, they delivered. As per the staff, if I could give them a million stars, I would. They go above and beyond. They are very kind and helpful. Said who stayed with us in Arusha and Serval was very helpful and patient. Our guides Thomas and Obedi were the best of the bests. Thomas has the eyes of a hawk. He spots everything. Both are knowledgeable. We asked plenty of questions and they answered every single one. All the things we wished to see, we saw— lions, elephants, leopard on the tree, cheetahs, rhinos, hippos opening their mouths, and so much more. Call it luck but I think we are lucky we got the best guides. Lodges were top notch and food is amazing. I highly recommend African Big Cats Safari!

This tour was the perfect choice for our honeymoon. Festo our guide was amazing. He made us feel comfortable, safe, and had made sure to tailor our safari to our goals and dreams. He was incredibly informed and we were so impressed. All of our lodgings were very nice, clean, and had everything we needed. We really felt spoiled in every sense! Highly recommend this tour for a once in a lifetime experience.

We had an incredible safari with our family of five and would highly recommend this company and, especially, our guide Martin.

The wildlife was amazing, particularly getting so close to elephants. Staying inside the parks was another highlight—we could hear lions calling at night, with some only about a quarter mile away!

The hospitality at the lodges was fantastic, including the warm welcomes and singing when we arrived. Martin took care of everything, including lunches on game-drive days, and was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with our kids.

Our 5-year-old became so attached to Martin that by the end of the trip, he genuinely felt like part of our family. We’ve already recommended Martin and this company to a close friend and would gladly recommend them to any family planning a safari.

I chose African big cat safari to visit Africa for my first time on my honeymoon. All around a great experience from climbing Mt Meru to safari and having cultural experiences in between. Everyone was very professional and organised. I have no complaints!
Imran was our great mountain guide so helpful throughout. Toshie great cook and Samson our super waiter. Isaac as well.
Elias our safari guide absolute champion so reliable and knowledgeable on all things safari and animals.

Peace of mind and kindness ! Dont look any further !

This tour was excellent and you pay for what you get. It was very expensive for us as South Africans that do not earn in dollars but no corners were cut and everything was safe and on time. We were in very capable hands of Klaus. They do have many option that can fit your budget as well you just have to ask and they provide options

Everything was transparent and honest as well as upfront. Nothing was left to chance and even though we had a small hiccup at the beginning it was the way in which it was handled that made us confident that these people know what they are doing.

The food was amazing considering we were vegetarians and the choice of lodges was also lovely.

We had a great time and the game viewing was superb.

A very honest and respectable company.
