Incredible First Safari Experience with CKC!

We had an amazing safari organized by CKC. John was super helpful and quick to respond throughout the planning process. The entire trip was seamlessly organized—the 6-course bush dinner and hippo pool breakfast were absolute highlights!

Our stays at Serena Lodges in Amboseli and Masai Mara were nice and comfortable, with our guide at Amboseli was amazing. The tour price was very reasonable given that it included national park fees and flights to/from the parks.

Our only regret was not knowing about the night safari options beforehand, as we definitely would have booked one. Highly recommended overall!

I led a three week school trip with 18 teenagers from the UK. CKC provided Landcruisers and three drivers, Geoff, Simon and Robert who could not have done more to make our expedition a success and they were great with our kids. John also provided superb backup from the CKC base throughout. In our first week we were volunteering in Kipsaina village, Trans Nzoia and the CKC team were there to give us logistical support from driving us to rural schools and nipping in and out of town to get us urgent supplies. We then stayed on Mt Elgon and the drivers were intrepid in their mountain driving and knowledgeable about the mountain fauna. This was followed by safari in Ol Pejeta and again the team were fantastic guides, playing along with inter-vehicle rivalry and in on the jokes.
John had then fixed up our final four days at Muwe Zuri Resort in Watamu - amazing location, beautiful accommodation and friendly staff.
I would not hesitate to recommend CKC to another school group or any other travellers.

Amazing tour operator for Mt Kenya

I can only recommend CKC Travels - John was super helpful organizing my Mount Kenya trekking trip, the most responsive company manager I encountered on the Kenyan market. He responded to all my messages quickly, and customized the tour to my requests. Michael as a mountain guide was also amazing - not only because he guided me successfully to Point Lenana, but he also shared his wide knowledge of Kenyan flora and fauna. He knows all the plants and birds of the mountains, and is a very kind and always cheerful guide. Steven, the cook was also wonderful, cooking everything carefully to make sure that my stomach was ok after a bad food poisoning before the tour in Nairobi. All in all wonderful experience, fully recommend the company in case you want to hike/climb Mt Kenya.

We hiked Mount Kenya with CKC and definitely recommend it.
Our guide Peterson was extremely experienced and supported us in every way possible. Also the rest of the team (chef and porters) were extremely friendly, open and did their very best to make the tour unforgettable for us!

From the first contact, John has been really helpful with the planning of our safari.
He has been quick to react and adapt to our different queries.

Upon arrival in Nairobi, he was there to brief us and to make sure everything went smoothly.

He introduced us to our driver/guide, Simon, who has been brilliant.
He is a very careful driver and knows his way around the different parks.

We had a great time and I definitely recommand CKC Travel.
