Perfect 2‑night stay at Selous Mapumziko Lodge
We spent two amazing nights at Selous Mapumziko Lodge, surrounded by beautiful nature and total peace. The staff were incredibly kind, always smiling and genuinely attentive (Tomasini alias Hope at first). Our full‑day safari was unforgettable — we saw lions, lionesses, giraffes, elephants, buffalos, hippos, and many more animals. Thanks at our french guide Gladyss !!! If you dont speak english fluently, ask her help...
The sunrise boat tour was stunning our boat guide told us a lot of funny stories, that was a moment of pure pleasure. And the visit to the Maasai village felt authentic and enriching. Comfortable accommodation, great food, and excellent organization from start to finish.
A lodge I truly recommend, a big thank you to Philbert !!!
Exceprional

Great adventure private tour recommended
Fantastic communication, well organised. Tour guide Dullah and driver Ramadan are the best! Were always nice and talkative.
We weren't able to find wild cats at safari like cheetah or lions, but still the experience was great and tour guide was dedicated to his job always thinking about our best experience! Highly recommend!

Wonderful safari
We had a wonderful experience on our private safari in Selous/Nyerere National Park!
We enjoyed several activities, including a boat safari, which was a really beautiful experience, as well as the game drive itself. We were accompanied by a guide and a driver. They shared so much information about the animals and the park throughout the safari, which made the experience even more interesting.
I was a little nervous before the safari, but they immediately made us feel comfortable and safe. We felt completely safe and well looked after throughout the entire experience.
We also really enjoyed the lodge. It felt much more authentic and personal than some of the larger, more touristy lodges around the park. The welcome was very warm, the staff were lovely, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere.
Overall, we had an amazing time as a couple and loved having a private safari experience. It was a very special part of our trip to Tanzania, with great value for money. We would definitely recommend it!

Amazing
Really good place heren with lovely people, they just want to make sure that this place feels like your home. You have a nice view from the camp, that with the wild monkeys and the good people makes this place feel magical.
