Amazing safari — ask for Eric

really made the difference were the guides: Eric and Luis were professional, kind and great company throughout the trip. Eric in particular was outstanding — very knowledgeable about the animals and the park, always attentive, patient and genuinely fun to travel with.

For Italian travellers: Eric speaks Italian, so if you want a guide who can explain everything in your own language, ask for him. Highly recommended.

Aloyce made our safari the best adverture we could have, he helped us see all the animals we wanted

The experience was great. Very expensive trip, average among other safari companies. There was great communication while booking. We didn’t feel the communication was great upon arrival. We had to get front desk to call the tour company to know at what time we were going to start our adventure the next day since they were not responding to our messages. Our tour guide, Aloyce did such an amazing job, he made this trip so special for my husband and I! He was friendly, he got us to see the big five, I wasn’t feeling good one of the days and he was pretty patient, he helped us at all times, he listen to what we wanted and even helped us get something for me to feel better. I recommend Aloyce 100%
Accomodations, Kibbo palace was good but not my favourite, the Dove Serengeti camp and Manyara’s secrete were amazing, 100% recommend these two to anyone, supper attentive, made us feel welcome at all times, very accommodating to my food allergy.
Karatu safari lodge… I will not go back to it, I do not recommend it if you have any food intolerences/allergies. Every place we stayed knew about my allergies, they were told by our tour company Amshar Serengeti Adventures and by myself and my husband upon arriving, however, they had no options for me to eat, what is worst, the chef was trying to convince me to try the food which had tomato paste, I have a severe anaphylactic allergy reaction to tomatoes and all the staff knew about it. Luckily I did not eat it… but it was an awful experience, I only ate mashed potatoes for supper and veggies since all the protein had tomato/ tomato paste. Not many options for the next day lunch, they used the left overs of the night before. This is a very expensive trip for me to experience this. I went to talk to front desk about the situation and she couldn’t be bothered to care, said sorry and immediately continue helping other people.

Our trip was very well organized. We were not rushed. All meals were good. Our guide/driver was excellent. He has good knowledge of the safari.
We didn’t like the room in one lodge, but Henry made the alternative accommodation. The service and staff were courteous.
Overall tour was very memorable.

Great local safari operator. Leoni handled our many requests and questions in building the itinerary for our budget. Aloyce was a thoroughly professional guide - taking us on long game drives, patiently searching for all the animals across each park we went to. We got to see it all, even up to the very late morning.

We had an absolutely wonderful safari experience with Amshar Serengeti Adventures. Our guide Kundaely Nassary was knowledgeable, patient and sharp-eyed. We were lucky to spot male and female lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras and hippos during our trip. Communication was smooth, the service was reliable, and we felt safe the whole time. Highly recommend this operator for anyone planning a Serengeti safari!
