Very helpful and professional
5/5

Communication was done well and efficiently. Tour was always on time and with great accommodations booked.

Our tour guide Major was amazing. He was very punctual, helpful and informative on the animals we saw.

Amazing safari experience with an excellent guide and fantastic service!
5/5

Our safari was absolutely amazing from start to finish! We had fantastic routes through the different parks and stayed at beautiful and unique accommodations along the way. Everything was very well organised, and the communication with the safari operator was excellent throughout the entire trip.

We couldn’t have wished for a better guide than Martin. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind and helpful, and made the safari even more special with his expertise and passion. Thanks to him, we learned so much about the animals and the beautiful surroundings.

One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the hot air balloon flight over the Serengeti. Watching the sunrise and seeing the wildlife from above was truly unforgettable. It’s an experience we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Tanzania!

Overall, we had an incredible experience and would definitely recommend this safari to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure.

The birthday adventure of a lifetime with Amshar Serengeti
5/5

My mother had always dreamed of going on safari, so for her 80th birthday we finally made it happen. It was the adventure of a lifetime. Amshar Serengeti and our guide Nassary made it so special for her (and for us).

Even before we left, Leoni at Amshar made us feel comfortable and confident. He emailed us a copy of their license to assure my mom they were a legitimate operation, and when we had trouble finding flights for our initial dates he shifted our entire reservation to make it work. Even though we arrived late at night, Leoni met us as we were dropped off at our hotel at 10:30pm to finalize arrangements and make sure we were squared away.

Nassary picked us up in the morning for five days of safari in Tarangire, the Serengeti (two days), Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. He made it clear from the beginning that he would follow our lead if we had specific things we wanted to do, but was just as happy to use his expertise to craft an exceptional safari experience for us. And he did—he found us unforgettable animal encounters every day, including many lions (males, females, and cubs), cheetahs, rhinos, elephants, rare birds, monkeys, and dozens of very active hippos for my hippo-loving mom. Every day we thought we had seen it all, but then something new and spectacular would turn up the day after. Nassary was able to identify every species we saw (even the trees!) and shared interesting facts about each one—in fact, he kept insisting we ask him more questions! We were comfortable and secure at all times, and when the Land Rover developed a small mechanical issue Nassary hopped out and fixed it in no time. At the tented camp we stayed at he arranged a birthday celebration with singing and cake for my mom (who he called "Birthday Girl" all week), and she hasn't stopped talking about it since.

Our safari was in the low to moderate price range, but we never would have known it. The animals don't know how much you paid, and every place we stayed was luxurious, impeccably clean, and filled with joyful, attentive staff. The food was consistently very good and plentiful, with omelets to order every morning (even in the middle of the Serengeti). We saw sunset over the Serengeti hills from our porch, lions close enough to touch, the great bowl of Ngorongoro Crater spread out below us, and hundreds and hundreds of animals. Our safari exceeded our expectations in every way, and we will carry the memories in our heart always. Asante sana, Amshar Serengeti!

Our guide, Dickson, was exceptionally kind, patient and went above and beyond- amazing experience
5/5

When first planing the safari we came across Ashmar Serengeti adventures and we saw the amazing recommendations they already had but after speaking to Henry who helped us plan the exact route we wanted with much patience we knew this is the company we are going with. Even before our flight here they made sure everything was ready for us and sent a driver to pick us up at Kilimanjaro airport who took us to our hotel in Arusha for one night before the safari. The driver was very nice and the car was big and had air conditioning and we spoke to the driver almost the whole ride. The next morning our driver, Dickson picked us up from our hotel in Arusha. He was so sweet and nice from the start. He explained everything we were going to do and we started to get to know him. He is very patient which was very important to us. He loves his job and you can definitely see it. He has an amazing eye for spotting Animals, a lot of knowledge and explained every question we had. Overall we had such a great experience with him and we totally recommend him. We had a three day limit so for our itinerary included Tarangire national park, ngorongoro crater and lake Manyara.
I would definitely recommend Tarangire national park for your first day. You see many animals such as elephants, zebras, giraffes and so many more unique animals and they come so close to the jeep. We also saw a lion up close as we were just about to leave.
On day two we went to ngorongoro crater. This site is a must in my opinion! The crater itself from above is so beautiful but the park itself offers you so much. We saw so many wild beasts, zebras, antelope, pompas and so many more. The most exciting was hippos, rinos, a baby leopard which completed our big five and a few lions one of them with cubs. We also waited two hours to witness a lion hunt and Dickson was so patient and just excited as we were. Sadly the park was about to close so we had to start making our back but it was a once in a lifetime experience.
On our third and last day we went to lake Manyara. The park and the lake are so beautiful and so different from the other two parks. We didn’t get as lucky as the other days and we saw a lot of baboons and a most of the animals we saw on day one except the lion. After lake Manyara Dickson took as back to Kilimanjaro airport.

We stayed for the two nights at Bougainville lodge and we were so surprised by pretty much everything. The service and staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our lodge was really big compared to what we excepted. The beds were supper comfortable, we had so many essentials in the room and they really want above in beyond. The first night after a while we didn’t have hot water in the shower and they fixed it right away. The room was also super clean. The food was really good and the everything was very clean. The only thing that needed double checking was that my boyfriend is lactose intolerant and before Henry asked us if we have a food allergy and we told him. At the lodge itself no one made sure there was something he could eat and he was very limited but we made it work.
The jeep was in great shape. We are two people and we had so much space even with the luggage in the back. We had a fridge where there was always cold water and water next to our seats.
I’m my opinion the value for money is amazing. We checked with other companies before coming and you get so much at such a good quality that it is definitely worth it.
I would absolutely recommend Amhara Serengeti adventures as they made our experience unforgettable and we will decently be back in the future to so sarangeti.

Great safari - all Perfect!
5/5

We did a 7-day safari in August and we really appreciated the support from the whole team. From Edward, who helped us organize the trip, to Aloisi, our guide, who made it truly special! Aloisi was amazing at spotting animals, always positive and always doing his best to accommodate all our requests.
We also really appreciated the lodges - always clean, beautiful, and with great food. A special mention to the Classic Lodge in Karatu and the Serengeti Migration Camp.
