Bearfoot Expeditions was born in 2007, the creation and inspiration of Justin Mathias Mosha. Coming from Marangu village, at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Justin began guiding in 1992 with Ranger Safaris, having obtained a diploma from Mweka College in Moshi. Bearfoot Expeditions started as a modest tour company with a small staff and limited vehicles but over time has grown into a business of 19 staff, 10 safari vehicles, transfer cars and two trucks! Justin also owns a mechanical garage that services all his safari vehicles, so personally ensures they are in the best condition for your trip.

Justin is the best!
We couldn't have asked for a better safari experience. Justin took our family of three to the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Maynara and the Serengeti this last February. He was delightful company and made sure that we had a great experience. Justin has deep experience with the Serengeti and we enjoyed hearing his stories and experiences.

Justin or "Just-in-Case" made our safari trip something so special that myself, my husband and my kids will never-ever forget it! We were treated so special everywhere we went, always knew what to expect for the day or days ahead and always felt safe (minus some lost sleep because of my own worries about animals:-) He is extremely knowledgeable about his own country, can maneuver a jeep through the countryside professionally, always, I mean ALWAYS, has your best interest at heart, he can relate and talk at ease with all ages and we knew he had our safety, exciting experiences and memories of a lifetime as his first priority. This guy will never leave you alone in the middle of the Serengeti (right Justin?!), and if you are lucky to meet him, he has plenty of good mood (bearfoot...!!!)
