An unforgettable 5-day safari – highly recommended!
My father and I went on a 5-day safari with Samora Explorers, visiting Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara – and it was truly an unforgettable experience!
We were lucky enough to see everything we had hoped for (and more!!), including all of the Big Five! Each national park was unique in its own way, and we couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful and diverse experience. The landscapes, wildlife and accommodations were all incredible. Every day brought something new, and the lodges and food were absolutely amazing.
The entire trip was perfectly organized, and communication with Samora Explorers was smooth and easy, both before and throughout our safari. We always felt well taken care of, and the value for money was absolutely excellent!
A very special thank you goes to our guide Reggie, who made this experience even more memorable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, attentive and always so open and friendly. We learned so much from him, had lots of fun together and really felt like a great team throughout the entire journey. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better guide!
We would do this safari again in a heartbeat and can recommend Samora Explorers to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

I was very satisfied with organizing our 6-days Safari tour, i enjoyed every moment. Big thanks to our guide Aron, he is very smart, clever, careful person and knows, where to go to find every kind of animal in national parks to make us happy. I was there with my son and Safari trip was my birthday gift from him and my daughter. I enjoyed every moment so much and all of guys who organized and provided our trip were also part of my gift. Big big thanks for all your service. Accomodation, food, driving, adventure every day. My big greatings to Aron and Asia. Excelent Tanzania safari tour
Samora Explorers provided excellent service in our 6 days safari tour in northern Tanzania. Everything was perfectly organized by Asia Juma from the beginning-planning and booking, until the end of jorney. Hotels knew in advance what meals they should serve due to our dietary. Our guide Aron was kind, experienced person, he knows a lot about animals and maasais. Thanks to him we saw big five. Thank you, Asante sana!

5/5 stars – A huge thank you to guide Reggie! Top-notch performance, despite some issues with the vehicle.
In October 2026, we went on a 5-day private safari with Samora Explorers. The communication with Iddy and Samwel leading up to the trip was absolutely outstanding—fast, straightforward, and highly commendable!
The absolute highlight of our trip, however, was our guide, Reggie (Reginald)! We felt completely at ease with him from the very first minute. Reggie is incredibly competent, shares a wealth of information, and has an exceptional eye for wildlife. The ultimate highlight: thanks to him, we were able to witness an actual lion hunt up close—an unforgettable moment! On a personal level, Reggie was also incredibly warm and humorous; we truly enjoyed the evenings spent in his company.
There were a few minor shortcomings regarding the vehicle and the transparency of the trip description:
Unfortunately, the safari vehicle was technically unreliable and broke down several times, requiring Reggie to carry out repairs on the spot.
The description of the timing for the game drives could have been more realistic. The actual duration of the game drives differed noticeably from what was outlined in the itinerary (though we aren't certain if this was due to the technical issues with our vehicle).
Despite these minor issues regarding the vehicle and the transparency of the itinerary, we would like to express our sincere thanks to Iddy and Samwel for their excellent support during the planning phase. And to Reggie: you made this trip a true highlight for us. We will never forget the days we spent with you! Shukran—you are a fantastic guide!

An Unforgettable First Safari Experience with Erick!
We couldn't have asked for a better guide than Erick for our very first safari adventure in Tanzania!
Erick is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife, nature, and Tanzania. Throughout the trip, he shared so many fascinating insights about the animals, their behaviors, the local geography, and the relationship between people and nature. We learned so much from him, which made the entire experience even more meaningful and memorable.
He's also an excellent driver! Despite the challenging road conditions, we always felt completely safe and comfortable in his hands. Beyond his expertise, what really stood out was how thoughtful and attentive he was, always going the extra mile to make sure everyone had the best possible experience.
