Great experience with this company
5/5

I booked a last minute budget safari with Mountain Warriors as a solo traveler. Rosemary was very prompt in answering my initial request and fitting me into a tour that fit my wants and needs. My guide, Walter, was very knowledgeable about the parks we visited and was able to deal with any unexpected happenings quickly and professionally. Walter’s a real one. Our chef, Ali, cooked wonderful food for us throughout the trip and was a very positive presence at every stopover we had. All in all I was very happy with my safari experience and wouldn’t hesitate to book with this company again!!

Amazing
5/5

We had the luxury of having Victor as our safari guide and he was absolutely brilliant. We also stayed at the signature safari lodge for the night which was such an unforgettable experience. The food and staff was lovely and I heard lions and buffalo outside our tent at night! Highly highly recommend, the team are always on hand too and reply so fast on WhatsApp. Thanks to victor and all the team for our incredible unforgettable adventure.

Absolutely fantastic experience
5/5

I can 100% recommend Mountain Warriors and I’m glad we selected this company for our first time in safari and in Africa in general. It’ rare to get such high quality service even in Europe! The initial communication was held with Evaline who prepared us a very detailed quote and always responded to questions I had within minutes. Evaline arranged everything for us including pick up from hotel in Zanzibar and taking care of our suitcases while we were on mainland, flight tickets and all transportation needed. We were also very satisfied with our tour guide Victor who was very knowledgeable and told us many interesting facts about animals. Thanks to his experience we managed to see all of big 5 and ugly 5 within 3 days in Serengeti & Ngorongoro. When I was looking for information regarding shared safaris I didn’t find much reviews, so perhaps in future this review will help other people to NOT be afraid to go on a shared tour with other people when wanting to save money. We had wonderful experience and got to know new people who were all friendly and welcoming and I do not regret at all not getting a private safari. However, on the other hand I highly recommend going mid-range not budget. We had one guy in our group who booked budget accommodation and since it was chilly and raining at night, he didn’t really enjoy the next safari day since he was staying in cold wet tent the night before. Don’t let this ruin your wonderful experience on safari and consider your accommodation possibilities as it’s usually once in a lifetime experience. I’m also very glad Evaline booked for us Matawi camp in Serengeti and I recommend to ask for it as it was an unique experience itself to enjoy such tranquillity with no other than nature sounds together with outstanding facilities in the middle of Serengeti.

Really good safari
5/5

Great value for money. Mountain warriors organized accommodation, meals, transport and guides for a safari and tour of hot springs and materuni waterfall.
Our guide, kefas, for the safari was fantastic at finding the animals. We managed to see all of the big 5! And he provided interesting commentary on their habitats and habits.
Several of the tour companies will combine tourists to maximise the number in the car (up to 6) and minimise the number of cars required. This was fine for us, because we got to travel with a few different groups of people for different parts of the trip.
I would recommend a 3, 4 or 5 day safari. We managed to see all of the big animals in the 3 days of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, but travelling through the Tarangire NP allowed us to see so many more elephants, and Materuni Lake was a different landscape (although the animals were harder to find compared to the Serengeti which was not ideal).

Friendly, considerate & knowledgable about all the wildlife.
5/5

Kefas was a great guide-friendly, considerate & very knowledgable about the animals & areas. A fantastic experience.
