Excellent service at a great value

Lion King Adventures was excellent. Their office staff was prompt and friendly in their communications and gave me exactly the safari itinerary I asked for. My safari guides (Benjamin and Haman) were extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and worked hard to ensure that I got to see the animals I wanted to (including the Big Five). And on my last day in Tanzania, I received a city tour of Arusha from George, who was very hospitable and kind and taught me much about the local Tanzanian culture, including the Maasai tribe (of which he himself is a member). All in all, it was a wonderful experience that I won't soon forget. If you're going on a safari, definitely book with Lion King Adventures!

An amazing trip! We did the 5 day safari and it was more than enough. You get to visit many different locations and are never bored! The luxury experience is worth the price!

I picked Lion King for our safari this June after doing research on safaribookings and other sites. It ended up being a very good decision. The initial contact with Jovitha and then Nickson, and the attention to detail through the booking process was flawless.
There were 6 of us, including 2 boys aged 8 and 10, so we were looking for something affordable but very comfortable. The value we got from Lion King, staying in beautiful accommodations in the tented camp in the Serengeti and the lodge near the Ngorongoro highlands was amazing.
The biggest plus though was the safari itself and our amazing guide Yusuph. We did a 5 day safari, with stops in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and highlands and Tarangire.
The game drives every day were amazing. Yusuph has great knowledge of both the parks themselves and of all the animals we saw. One example of going beyond what is needed-- he saw a herd of elephants in the distance but thought that they might be heading our way. We sat there for a while, and the elephants walked right to us, crossing the road right in front of us- at least 25 including the smallest babys!
The whole experience was great! I totally can recommend Lion King for the experience from start to finish.

We went to Tanzania through Lion King Adventures for a family holiday; the whole trip was seamless, incredibly well organised, and an experience we would absolutely recommend to everyone! The views were amazing and we were able to see all the animals that we wanted to see and more; our lodges and hotels were beautiful and the staff were so lovely and hospitable. The food provided for the safaris and at the venues was excellent every day with great vegetarian options.

A huge thank you to expert tour guide, Salehe Mkwanda, who is a brilliantly experienced guide who made our trip even more memorable with his information about all the wildlife and culture around us; he answered every question we had with amazing knowledge, and even went above and beyond to help us sort issues with missing luggage which we were incredibly grateful for!

We would highly recommend booking a Tanzanian safari with Lion King adventures, and would recommend Salehe as your guide for an absolutely unforgettable experience!

For An African Safari you Must Use Lion King!

We just completed a trip of a lifetime: 10 days in Tanzania and Zanzibar; all put together by Lion King. Our guide Shedrack, was extremely professional properly dressed, polite, always had a smile and helped with our luggage. PLUS, he was an excellent guide telling us about our daily excursions as well as about the people and history of Tanzania. And, most importantly we saw every African animal we dreamed of and then some. Shedrack knew how to scout out the most elusive animals.Everything we would expect from a 1st class guide and company.
