The Dream Team: How Elia and Idris made our Tanzania trip unforgettable!
We found Serengeti Wakanda Tours & Safaris through a recommendation from Gemini AI, and it turned out to be the best travel decision we made. From the planning phase to the final drop-off, this team exceeded every expectation.
The Planning: A special thanks to Goodluck Mloge in the sales team. Planning a safari can be complex, but Goodluck was incredibly professional, responsive, and responsible. He handled our back-and-forth questions with patience and curated the perfect itinerary for us.
The Guide (Elia Edward Mollel - you can Google him): We feel incredibly lucky to have been assigned Elia Edward Mollel as our guide. Elia is in a league of his own.
Master Naturalist: Elia doesn't just drive; he anticipates. He has a deep understanding of animal psychology—he knew exactly what animals would do next based on the weather changes or the behavior of other animals nearby. It felt like he was always one step ahead of the wildlife.
The "Leopard Whisperer": His dedication to finding the "Big 5" is unmatched. In the Serengeti, we saw nearly 50 other vehicles waiting and failing to find a leopard. Elia was the only guide who pushed further, used his instincts, and actually found one for us.
Eagle Eyes: His eyesight is superhuman—he could spot animals from a mile away that we couldn't see even with binoculars.
A Photographer at Heart: As a huge bonus, Elia is a talented hobby photographer. He took incredible photos during the trip and generously shared them with us afterwards. This wasn't part of the package; it was just his personal kindness.
The Chef (Idris): Our chef, Idris, was the heart of our trip. He is funny, respectful, and deeply passionate about his cooking.
Vegetarian Excellence: Being vegetarian, we were worried about the food, but Idris went above and beyond. He tried his absolute best to accommodate us, and his cooking actually got better and better as the safari progressed!
Bakery Surprise: We were shocked to get fresh, delicious cakes and bakery items right in the middle of the bush. You can taste the affection he puts into his food.
The Extra Mile: Elia and the team went above and beyond the itinerary. They arranged an authentic stop for us to meet the Maasai people on the road to Arusha, and even squeezed in a city tour on our last day.
I highly recommend Serengeti Wakanda Safaris. If you book with them, ask for the "Elia and Idris" combination—you won't regret it!

An unforgettable journey
We traveled as a couple and chose Serengeti Wakanda for our 5-day safari in Tanzania, and we would choose them again a thousand times over.
From our very first request for information, we were assigned the extremely kind Goodluck as our main contact. He was always incredibly punctual with his replies and constantly made sure to fully understand what we were expecting from the safari, in order to guarantee us the best possible experience. Beyond organizing the parks and safari areas, as well as the overnight accommodations, Goodluck provided us with every possible piece of information regarding any curiosity or doubt we had. Truly outstanding support.
As for the safari itself, it is difficult to put into words all the emotions we experienced during this incredible journey. What we know for sure is that it would not have been the same without our amazing guide John.
John is not only a very friendly and genuinely funny person, but also a true living encyclopedia when it comes to African wildlife. Throughout the safari we asked him countless questions, and he always answered with enthusiasm, often adding even more fascinating details. His knowledge is not limited to animals alone, but also extends to the flora — absolutely incredible.
What impressed us the most is that John seems to know every single road, track, and area of the parks by heart, in a way that is honestly hard to believe. During the entire safari, he managed to transmit his deep love for nature and for this land, and thanks to his extraordinary experience, he gifted us with truly rare sightings. We were told that seeing a leopard on safari is quite rare… well, thanks to John (and our immense joy), we saw five of them! Not to mention the two rare rhinos in the Ngorongoro Crater, serval cats, cheetahs, and countless other extraordinary encounters.
John was also always extremely attentive to every one of our needs throughout the safari and during the game drives.
Thank you, John, for your kindness, your humor, and your incredible expertise!
Another fundamental person who made our safari truly unforgettable was our chef Sule. Sule accompanied us throughout the entire trip, preparing delicious meals especially for us. He carefully checked our food preferences and made sure to buy fresh, suitable ingredients every time. We can only be enthusiastic about the meals he prepared. Every single meal — from breakfast to lunch and dinner — was freshly cooked just before each occasion and perfectly organized so we could enjoy great food wherever we were during the game drives. All the dishes were absolutely delicious, and every day he surprised us by varying the menu, cooking not only local dishes but even Italian ones. Everything was truly excellent!
Our safari took place in the first days of January 2026 and included Tarangire, Serengeti, Ndutu, and the Ngorongoro Crater. All the accommodations were incredible, with a special mention for Taji House, right in the heart of the Serengeti, where we fell asleep at night to the sounds of hyenas, lions, and hippos, as well as the tent at Simba Camping in Ngorongoro, which was an absolutely breathtaking and unforgettable place.
We could talk for hours about this magnificent experience, but words would still not do it justice.
Thank you, Serengeti Wakanda — we are certain this is only a see you again.

Outstanding!
Unforgettable 4-Day Fly-In Safari with Wakanda Tours
We did a 4-day fly-in safari from Zanzibar, and it was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish!
From the very beginning, the Wakanda team was always in close contact with us, extremely supportive, and perfectly organized. We felt well taken care of at every moment.
Our guide Zepha was absolutely outstanding — super friendly, highly professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained so much about the animals, their behavior, and the ecosystem, and he was able to answer every single question we had. A truly top-level guide. On top of that, he fulfilled all our wishes — and more.
Thanks to Zepha, we saw everything we hoped for and beyond:
• We collected all of the Big Five
• We even spotted the rare and endangered Black Rhinos
• A beautiful leopard
• Countless antelope species, including kudu and eland
• Lion cubs
• And an unforgettable sighting of a cheetah mother with her three cubs
In Ndutu, Zepha took us to special locations that other guides clearly did not know. At times, we were the only jeep there, witnessing the Great Migration up close — an absolutely breathtaking and deeply moving experience.
In the Ngorongoro Crater, we captured incredible photos thanks to Zepha’s professionalism. He always positioned the jeep at the perfect angle, ensuring the best views and lighting for wildlife observation and photography. His driving was precise, and perfectly timed.
In Tarangire National Park, we encountered dozens of elephants, often so close that you could almost touch them — of course, without ever disturbing them. Seeing these gentle giants at such close range was simply magical and one of the highlights of the entire safari.
All three locations — Ndutu, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire — were absolutely spectacular. Thanks to our exceptional guide Zepha, we enjoyed amazing game drives, saw an extraordinary number of animals, and captured photos and memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
We can wholeheartedly recommend Wakanda Safari — and especially Zepha — to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime safari experience!

Committed
The safari experience was very good, mainly thanks to our guide Bin, who was exceptional. He was kind, caring, professional, and did his absolute best to ensure we had an amazing experience throughout the trip.
The only downside was the food, which did not meet our expectations. Improving the food quality would greatly enhance the overall experience.
