We had an incredible 10-day safari in Tanzania with Wakanda Safari Tour, and we cannot thank our guide Tom Sifu (Tom) enough. Tom is an exceptional guide and a truly wonderful human being — very spiritual, deeply connected to nature, and incredibly knowledgeable. From the Serengeti to Kilimanjaro – Seamless Adventure, Professional Expert Guide and True Integrity
We recently returned from a dual-adventure trip to Tanzania over Christmas ’25 — a last‑minute plan that combined a Serengeti safari with a Mt. Kilimanjaro trek. Our group grew from two to four, including a couple in their 70s with specific constraints, making coordination especially complex and tricky.
Coordination & Planning
Organizing this trip was a marathon, with more than 10 iterations before the itinerary was finalized. Through it all, Aishwarya was exceptional. Responsive, patient, and always “on the ball,” she navigated shifting group sizes, banking/payment delays, and logistical hurdles with calm professionalism. Her patience, persistence and clarity kept the trip on track when everyone’s patience was wearing thin.
Serengeti Safari – Guided by Elia
If you book this trip, ask for Elia. He is a phenomenal guide — sharp, grounded, and blessed with vision sharper than the predators themselves. He spotted a lion in a tree from 500m away, visible to us only through binoculars.
Elia is “flexible like water,” adapting to every request with humor and confidence. His integrity is equally remarkable: when his personal binoculars went missing, he politely declined our offer to replace them. Beyond wildlife expertise, his attentiveness to safety — even in bustling market areas — gave us complete peace of mind. A true gentleman and a legend.
Mt. Kilimanjaro Trek
The mountain leg was equally rewarding. Our guide was a powerhouse of fitness and knowledge, leading us confidently to the 4,000m+ altitude. His insights into local flora, fauna, and route intricacies transformed the climb into an educational journey as much as a physical challenge.
