Elijah far exceeded our expectations! Our trip was truly amazing and life changing.
Our trip to Kenya was extraordinary! We could not have asked for a better trip from start to finish. Elijah made our experience perfect in every way. His communication was excellent and he walked us through every detail. He helped us plan each safari and activity and gave suggestions on what would be best. The drivers, accommodations, excursions, and experiences we had were above and beyond. He took out all the stress of planning such a big trip. We will always consider Elijah a friend, he was absolutely wonderful! Our driver, Ezekiel, was seriously the best! He also went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable and he was a master safari guide. We were able to see every animal on safari. I would recommend Green Places Adventures over and over again to anyone! They were the best and I will always feel confident sending any traveler their way!

Great value low season short 5-day safari trip
Elijah easily adapted to our wishes in a last minute booking and made us a good price. We started with a day visit to the Naivasha lake, continuing to Lake Nakuru in the afternoon. This is ideal as both the ride to end from the lodge in Nakuru are full on game drives. In this way we could pass 3 night in Masai mara giving us 2 full day game drives. For us this was a perfect combination which allowed us to see all the animals we hoped to see. One advise I have: If you travel with only two or three pax, have the company remove the first two passenger seats from the landcruiser so you have more space to stretch your legs. April is a beautiful month, everything green and lush, rains mainly during the night and not too many jeeps in the parks.
Flexible and professional
I went to Samburu National Reserve with Green Places Adventures on a three-day private safari. It really was three days, even with the long drive from Nairobi we managed a good long game drive the first evening and the same again on the final morning. Everything was very easily organised by email, Elijah in the office always responded quickly and was very helpful and efficient. The trip itself was really good value and everything was excellent, a problem with a mysteriously draining battery in the vehicle overnight for example was quickly resolved and no time was lost. I am a birder so I wanted to look at slightly different things to a typical customer, I sometimes asked for very frequent stops and to look in places safari vehicles maybe wouldn't typically go, and this was all fine and no problem at all for Jackton, my driver / guide, who was fantastic. On the final day, with a long drive ahead and potentially late finish in the evening, there was no rushing or pushing to leave. The camp, Samburu Riverside Camp, was 'no frills' but lovely, great staff, great simple food, really comfortable bed, no complaints there at all. Thank you all, it was a really memorable tour.
