Safari was incredible!
I didn’t realise my review was for both the lodge and the safari, so please let me explain how amazing our safari experience was as part of the package we bought. We were picked up in our hotel in Zanzibar, flew out on a plane with only us on it to Nyerere National Park where we met our safari team. Our tour guide Shabani and driver Kelesa were an amazing team! They took us on a night game drive, set us up with a beautiful meal underneath the stars in the park. The next day we went for our full game drive which was amazing. We saw lions, hippo, giraffe, elephant, warthog, buffalo, zebras, impala. It was the best day ever, we then had a sunset cruise watching the hippos. I can’t reccomend booking this safari package enough, we had the honeymoon of a lifetime! We loved every second and can’t thank Shabani and Kelesa enough, they were so kind and friendly, shared so many stories and knowledge with us about the park and answered all of our questions! Thank you both!

Excelent, Franklin new a lot of the good spots
We had a lovely experience .
The boat safari is beautiful and is something so different that you would!’t find in other places and we had an amazing stay at the lodge . The staff was extremely friendly and helpful . The game drive with Franklin was another level , I cannot even describe in words how beautiful the whole experience was you just have to try it out. He knew all the good spots too which was a plus . Thank you very much for this experience. Was unforgettable.

Excellent! Forward thinking so we always had something exciting to see!
Our guide was fluent in English and had vast knowledge of the wildlife we saw.
We felt safe during the entire trip! He made sure to place the truck so we could get the best pictures.

This place wasn’t what i was expecting to be having animals running around while eating and sitting around a fire on the evening with food was something special
