Our booking was for a 7-day trip including Rhino Tracking, QE NP, Murchison Falls, Gorilla Tracking etc. We had a great tour with our guide peter.
He was very flexible when we spontaneously wanted to include the shoebill tour. Moreover, the accommodations were much better than we expected! Especially Pakuba safari Lodge and the Gorilla mist camp were amazing. peter was really eager to show us as many animals as possible and we even saw a leopard very close once. In general, everything was very well organized and we really enjoyed our trip! We recommend Deks safaris and tours for any travelers yearning to visit Africa. Best greetings from USA!

Inspiring 8 days in Uganda with gorillas
My husband and I just spent a wonderful 8 days on safari in Uganda. Our tour guide Samuel was amazing. From the second he greeted us at Entebbe airport we knew we were in for a treat. Samuel was very professional, knowledgeable, down to earth and always on time. We got to know a lot about one another and had amazing conversations on our long drives between destinations. On our first day in Uganda, he took us for a rest at Haylo hotel in Lubowa along entebbe road near Kampala. The hotel is very clean with specious rooms, a true home away from home. It has Great local local food and and any food. We stayed there the first and last day. He joined us for dinner on our last night where we got to bond more and he even taught us a card game they play in Uganda that we will definitely be taking home to teach all of our friends. Samuel went above and beyond for anything we asked of him. I highly recommend Deks Safaris and Tours to anyone looking to visit Uganda and certainly hope to come back and have Samuel guide us again one day!
