We had a great time with Ernest on our safari in September. He was always prompt and reliable. He answered all our questions and even helped us learn some Kiswahili. We couldn't imagine a guide we would recommend more than Ernest. We wish him only the best of luck.

We spent four amazing days exploring three incredible parks — Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater, and two full days in Serengeti. Every moment was breathtaking.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about nature — we learned so much from him! We were lucky to witness some truly special scenes: a mother lion nursing her cubs, a cheetah chasing an antelope, and so many colorful birds, pumbas, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. The landscapes were just as stunning — the Ngorongoro Crater is absolutely sublime, and the sunset we saw in Serengeti was magical.

Regina did a fantastic job organizing everything — the lodges she recommended were excellent, and communication with her was always smooth and helpful. Eric, our driver in Arusha, was also very kind and professional.

Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the whole experience and would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable safari in Tanzania.

Best possible experience with Ernest. He has an amazing knowledge of the country and all species. He has amazing driving skills. We felt so confident and secure with him! We saw almost all animals and he was always extremely friendly and polite. I wish him great success in his new business and recommend him 200% for travelling thru Tanzania!

Ernest Magic Tour Review

I am turning 40 and wanted to do something special to celebrate. My mum (from Canada) has been wanting to go to Africa on safari and I realised this would be an awesome experience. Since my family and I live in Australia, Tanzania seemed like the perfect middle ground and safe country to do our safari in.

It was overwhelming when trying to pick a company to do our safari with. There are so many to choose from but after weeks of research, I learned more about Ernest’s background and decided to choose his company for our 6 night, 7 day safari with my mum and two children. From start to finish, the process was so smooth thanks to Regina who was exceptional with communication and ensured our trip was exactly what we hoped for in terms of our activities and accommodations. We could not fault her choices.

Whilst Ernest wasn’t our driver, Erick, our guide, was incredible. He is an Arusha local and has been guiding for over a decade. He was so patient, professional and was great with my kids. He made us all feel so safe and comfortable. Erick’s experience on safari had us spotting 4/5 of the Big 5 animals on our first day, within our first hour or two after landing (we flew into Northern Serengeti from Arusha - best idea ever with kids to eliminate some of the driving).

Erick made the trip a once in a life time experience for our family and something that we will never forget. He was a wealth of knowledge and answered the never ending questions that my kids had. We are SO happy that we chose Ernest Magic Tours for our family safari trip in Tanzania. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a small, tailored experience where the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a great time.

We just finished our Tanzania safari, arranged by Magic Tour. The entire experience was incredible from start to finish! Even before departure, the team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and patience, meticulously answering all our questions and tailoring our itinerary to our specific needs. It was truly a thoughtful and thoughtful experience.

A special thank you to our driver and guide, Ally! He is experienced and mature, not only a skilled driver but also a profound knowledge of Tanzania's grasslands and animal behavior. In the Serengeti, he meticulously guided us to stunning animal scenes, and in the Ngorongoro Crater, he strategically timed our trips to the perfect light and timing for many rare animal sightings. Every day, he efficiently and calmly allowed us to experience the wonders of the wild up close.

Ally also paid meticulous attention to detail—there were always clean, cold drinks in the car, and the packed lunches were delicious and plentiful. He even thoughtfully arranged breaks during long drives to share insights into local culture. His optimistic, friendly, and responsible attitude made the entire trip safe and enjoyable.
