Our group enjoyed tour greatly!

I worked with Linda on setting up our groups two (individual) day tours months before our visit in August. And she really helped me prepare the exciting tour visits to several different places, for our group of 15, while in Nairobi. She was always available when needed and answered all questions. She had great suggestions and when or if an issue came up, she would solve the problem for me with ease. Duke was our tour guide while in Nairobi and he was great and very personable. He spent the long two days with us and we never felt rushed or as an inconvenience for him. An issue with one of our stops came up and he handled the problem with professionalism and offered our group of 15 an added 2 different stops in place of the one, which ended up being great alternatives, according to my group! I would highly recommend Linda and Duke from Beast Spoor Tours to set up your visit and tour experience while in Nairobi. Our group really enjoyed our time in Nairobi and all the experiences of Africa because of them!

The safari was truly amazing. The coordinators are super friendly flexible to our individual needs. Their priority is that you have the best possible experience. It is 100 percent worth it for the money and strikes the perfect balance between safari adventure and comfort. I will definitely recommend it.

This trip to Kenya with Amlana Safaris was my Third time in Africa, and it was absolutely amazing—I can’t imagine a better experience! As a 25-year-old who loves taking photos, this journey checked all my boxes.​
Every day was so packed with fun and exciting things to do, which meant I had endless opportunities to snap stunning pictures. Whether we were driving through the savanna spotting animals, exploring small villages, or stopping at beautiful viewpoints, there was always something Instagram-worthy to capture. My camera roll is now filled with so many incredible shots that I can’t decide which one to post first!​
Our driver was the best part of the trip, hands down. He’s super chatty and knows everything about the animals. Even from far away, he could tell exactly what species we were looking at—like, he’d point to a tiny spot in the distance and say, “That’s a Thomson’s gazelle, not a Grant’s,” and then explain the differences. He also told us all kinds of cool facts about their habits, like how lions sleep most of the day or why elephants never forget. Listening to him made the whole experience so much more interesting, and it felt like hanging out with a friend who just happens to be a wildlife expert.​
One of the highlights was watching the sunset in Serengeti. It was like something out of a movie—pinks, oranges, and purples painting the sky, with the silhouette of acacia trees in the foreground. I took a million photos and sent them to my friends right away, and they all texted back saying they were so jealous. It’s a memory I’ll cherish forever, and I have Amlana Safaris to thank for making sure we were in the perfect spot to see it.​
Overall, this trip was everything I hoped for and more. Amlana Safaris did such an amazing job planning every detail, from the daily activities to the driver they assigned. If you’re a young traveler who loves adventure, good photos, and learning new things, you have to book with them. I’m already planning my next trip with Amlana Safaris—this is just the first of many African adventures for me!

Traveling to Africa for the first time with four friends, we chose Amlana Safaris, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made—this trip deserves a perfect score.​
Our adventure started on a high note, but there was a small hiccup in Masai Mara. The tent we’d been assigned was quite noisy because a nearby church was holding activities. We mentioned this to the Amlana team, and they didn’t hesitate for a second. Within a short time, they arranged for us to move to another hotel, ensuring we could rest comfortably after long days of exploring. Their responsiveness showed they truly care about their clients’ experience, turning a minor issue into a testament to their excellent service.​
What impressed us most was how the Amlana Safaris checked in with us every day. They’d ask how we’d enjoyed the day’s activities and were always ready to adjust the itinerary based on our preferences. If we wanted to spend more time in a particular area to spot more wildlife, or if we felt like taking a slightly slower pace, they made it happen seamlessly. This flexibility made the trip feel personal, like it was crafted just for us.​
And oh, the wildlife encounters! They were beyond our wildest dreams. We witnessed a leopard feasting on its prey, a rare and thrilling sight that left us in awe. Then there was the incredible moment we saw lions mating—a behavior not many get to observe. We even caught a glimpse of a hunt in action, the raw power and precision of the predators taking our breath away. To top it all off, we got up close to rhinos, their massive presence both intimidating and majestic. These are memories we’ll be talking about for years to come, and we have Amlana Safaris to thank for positioning us in the right places at the right times.​
