In July 2025, we fulfilled a long-held dream: we visited Tanzania and experienced a country full of fascinating nature, lovely people, and unusual sights.

Our safari took us to Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park. We will especially remember the overnight camping trips in the Serengeti!

We were very fortunate to have Alex as our guide. Alex proved to be not only a friendly and competent guide, but also a safe off-road driver with excellent local knowledge.

His colleagues also clearly appreciate his open nature – every encounter was characterized by warmth and compassion.

As a trained veterinarian, we felt Alex's love and respect for the animals every minute. This impressed us greatly.

Thanks to his excellent German language skills, we were able to learn a lot about the country, its people, and its nature.

Alex was always open to our individual requests and concerns and fulfilled them with joy and responsibility.

We had great trust in Alex from the very beginning. Even after our onward journey to Zanzibar, he regularly asked how we were.

Doing a safari was a dream since i was a kid and i was more than happy to finally be able to realize it with my 14 years old son. The animal observations were outstanding and more and closer than we ever dreamt of. Accommodations: Throughout our trip, we stayed in various lodges and tent camps, all distinguished by their unique locations, excellent service, and high quality. Falling asleep under the African starlit sky and waking up to the sounds of the wilderness was enchanting each day anew.

We were fortunate to observe the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and buffalo) in their natural habitat. Also the Great Migration in the North of Tanzania by thousands of Gnus was amazing to observe. Additionally, the safaris provided profound insights into the ecosystems, history, and conservation efforts of the region.

Cultural Encounters: Visits to local communities were undoubtedly among the highlights. These provided us with insights into the lifestyle and culture of the Masai. The respectful and open exchange with the locals was an experience we wouldn't want to miss.
