Fantastic experience with Meru Slopes Tours And Safaris! Very professional throughout, very helpful and attentive to every need. They made the experience seamless and enjoyable with their friendliness and commitment.

The highlight was Jacob, our guide, who was very knowledgeable, friendly and committed. He put in all efforts to ensure that our Safari was well worth it. It was a pleasure to do a Safari with him as our guide and Gift as our contact person.

My very first interaction with Meru Slopes was with Jerome. He is very professional and communicated well. He was always quick to respond with any questions I had. Jerome was only too happy to help me customise my tour, very flexible.
Kunda, our guide for 10 days is exceptional, making our tour the best Safari experience ever. I can’t recommend him enough.
The service is very professional, the accommodations exceeded my expectations especially for being quoted as mid range.
I am extremely happy with my choice of Safari and thanks to Meru Slopes made it happen. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing 6-day safari across Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Meru Slopes. Traveling as a group of six friends, this was truly a memorable and fun trip.

Special thanks to our tour manager, Gift, who helped us plan everything so smoothly. From patiently answering all our questions (since this was our first safari) to selecting wonderful hotels with excellent food—including Indian chefs who made us feel right at home—everything was handled with great care.

Our guide, Jacob, was outstanding. Extremely knowledgeable about the Serengeti and wildlife, he ensured we managed to spot the Big Five and much more. His warmth, expertise, and easygoing nature made us feel comfortable and enriched the entire safari experience.

Overall, Meru Slopes gave us a great deal, excellent service, and memories we’ll always cherish. Highly recommended to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania!

Our honeymoon safari with Meru Slopes was absolutely magical! We did a 9-day trip through Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, and every moment was unforgettable.

Max, our guide, was amazing—kind, knowledgeable, and always knew the best spots for wildlife. Jerome made planning seamless, and Nickson and Edison went above and beyond by taking us to hot springs, a waterfall, and a coffee tour on our extra days.

The whole team made us feel so well cared for and turned our dream trip into reality. Highly recommend Meru Slopes to anyone looking for the safari experience of a lifetime!

Climbing Mount Meru was incredible from start to finish. The entire team worked so hard to make the trek safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. The porters deserve huge praise — they carried heavy loads with such skill and always greeted us with smiles and encouragement, which kept morale high on the tougher stretches of the trail.

That said, special recognition has to go to our main guide, Hussein. He was absolutely outstanding. Hussein combined deep knowledge of the mountain with genuine care for every member of the group. He set a perfect pace, checked on us constantly, and made sure we understood what to expect each day. His calm reassurance during the steep summit push gave us the confidence to keep going, and thanks to him, we all made it to the top safely.

Hussein also shared so much about the park’s wildlife, geology, and history, which turned the climb into more than just a physical challenge — it was a learning experience too. His professionalism and warmth really set this trek apart.

If you’re considering climbing Mount Meru, I couldn’t recommend this team enough. The porters are incredible, and with Hussein leading the way, you’ll be in the very best hands. Five stars without hesitation!
