Great tour operator in services and communication

We started our safari from The Summit Hotel in Arusha. Our qualified guide Luck proved his name during the 4 days - 3 nights safari:)
We were extremely impressed by all the wildlife in Tarangire Park and the closeness some animals came to our Jeep!
By the way: don’t think your the only one spotting wildlife; a lot of other Jeeps gather around to get the best possible view! The roads more up north make sure you’ll experience the ‘African Massage’ so maybe not for faint hearted.
Lodges and tented camp were fine as well as all services provided during our stay.
Again compliments to our guide: Luck for his professional approach to some challenging situations!

We went on a four-day safari in Tanzania with Ndutu Green Explorer, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Our guide and drivers were Emmanuel and Toni, and they were outstanding throughout the trip. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable, and they made us feel comfortable at all times. They were punctual, well organised, and very accommodating to our needs and preferences.

They took great efforts to ensure we had a memorable safari. Their ability to spot wildlife early was impressive, and they always positioned the vehicle well so we could enjoy clear views and take photographs. They explained what we were seeing and showed us the best areas in each park, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Because of their experience and dedication, we were able to see a wide variety of animals and truly appreciate the safari.

I would also like to specially mention Erick, who coordinated our booking and planned the entire trip. He was very helpful, responsive, and well organised, and he arranged all our stays and the overall itinerary smoothly. Everything was well planned, and the trip ran seamlessly without any issues.

I would highly recommend Ndutu Green Explorer, and especially Emmanuel, Toni, and Erick. If we return to Tanzania for another safari, we would definitely choose them again and would ask for the same team.

Our safari with Ndutu Green Explorers was an incredible experience overall. We had a private tour, four nights five days. The wildlife viewing was outstanding. We were lucky enough to have Gilbert who went far above and beyond and we saw the full Big Five, along with countless other animals. The time spent in the parks was truly unforgettable.

Gilbert was knowledgeable, calm, professional and excellent throughout the trip always answering any questions we had. Even when the vehicle had some mechanical issues (which was the only mishap in our trip) he handled everything smoothly and safely and got the car working again.

Special thanks to the team as well who helped return our baggages (in the same day) to us when they were lost by the airline!

The only minor downsides: our first nights accommodation was weaker than expected due to a booking unavailability. Also logistically it would be better if guests can arrive a day earlier and leave a day later since the experience would be less rushed. It was go go go the entire time we were there. That said, it did not take away from the experience at all, just be prepared for minimal downtime.

Overall, fantastic wildlife, great service, and a memorable trip. Would absolutely recommend Ndutu and if you do pick them ask for Gilbert as your guide.

Ndutu was amazing! First time on Safari, did a 5 day, 4 night luxury Safari. They took care of everything, from logistics, to food to even retrieving and delivering our lost luggage! What made the trip spectacular was our driver and guide: Gilbert! He knew everything, and we got to see all Big Five, and then some! Even the ever reclusive Leopard and Rhinos.

The one caution I would give is check out the lodging options they have got you at. There was a last minute change on one of the accommodations on the first night, where we were put up at Furaha ‘luxury’ camp. It was not, at all! The lodge was half constructed and basically the shell of a building, the rooms/cabins worse: filled with bugs, and certainly not well cleaned. EVERY other accommodation was superb though! The other three nights were are amazing lodges, with fantastic food, great service, and pristine cabins.

I had an unforgettable experience on a 5-day safari in Tanzania with my father. It was an extraordinary journey that allowed us to see breathtaking places, stunning landscapes, and incredible wildlife, all without any worries.
The organization was impeccable: every detail was perfectly taken care of, allowing you to focus solely on enjoying the vacation. The accommodations selected for our overnight stays were excellent, comfortable, and strategically located, ensuring minimal time spent driving between one park and another.
Communication with the organization was always clear and readily available, while communication with our guide, Culvert, was truly outstanding. He was professional, knowledgeable, attentive to our needs, and capable of making each day truly special.
All of this came with a great value for money and a high level of reliability, even when dealing with unexpected situations, which were handled quickly and efficiently.
I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a perfectly organized, safe, and truly unforgettable safari.
A special mention goes to our guide, Culvert, who truly made this experience exceptional. He is a young man with great experience and a genuine love for his work. He is extremely knowledgeable about all animals, including birds, and always ready to share fascinating insights. Constantly smiling, polite, and willing to go above and beyond to meet every client’s needs, he created a warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout the trip. After five days, he felt more like a friend than a guide, and our journey was filled with laughter and unforgettable moments. Culvert also speaks several languages fluently (I’m Italian and he speaks italian very well) and loves teaching key words in Swahili, helping you immerse yourself even more in the magical Tanzanian atmosphere. We truly grew attached to him and highly recommend him to anyone who wants to fully enjoy an amazing and memorable vacation.
A fundamental part of any safari is the person you spend many hours in the car with every day, and this was something that worried us quite a lot at first. However, it truly could not have turned out any better, both thanks to Culvert and to the excellent organization of Ndutu Green Explorers: it became a wonderful vacation and a beautiful human connection, making the entire experience even more meaningful and memorable!!!
