We used Kerry Ririe and the Pembury Tours team to book a wonderful trip to Africa this summer (2025). We were a group of two families (4 adults and 5 kids with age range of 8-16) and Kerry made our experience flow seamlessly. She researched and accommodated all of our requests, some of which came in while in transit and during our adventure. It was extremely comforting to have everything organized for us so that we knew that we had pick ups and transfers, guides to take us wherever we wanted and accommodation that was family friendly but also delivering the perfect safari/bush lodge style that we were hoping. Our travels took us into South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia and I cant think of a thing that we didn't do that was on the 'wish list' but due to Pembury's delivery of our perfect summer holiday - we ALL cannot wait to return to Africa.

Coming back to Pembury Tours [Tammy H] to help plan our second African safari (S Africa 11 years ago; Kenya this trip) was the best decision! I shared places I was curious about, which she then turned into an elevated itinerary and travel experience with terrific suggestions, too. Camps were held for us while we decided and settled upon the most expansive 10-day adventure we could fit in! 25th wedding anniversary surprises were awaiting us at every turn, and each were heartwarming and kind gestures. Great food and Kenyan hospitality was amazing, overall. Guided airport pick up and check-in was worth gold. Pre, during and post holiday communication was excellent!!! What a dream trip we experienced… thank you!! (A local company helped with city guides and one camp transfer, which was great … I strongly recommend air travel vs ground transfer where possible as one drive between camps was too long.)

We spent two amazing weeks in Africa. We visited South Africa (Sabi Sand, Cape Town), Victoria Falls and Botswana (Chobe, Okavango). This was our fourth time in Africa, but this was our most amazing trip so far.
All thanks to Pembury tours, specifically Gail Davis. When choosing an agency, we approached several from Africa, but from the beginning the communication with Gail was at a high level. She was able to match our requirements to the places we wanted to see. She proposed an optimal itinerary, which we implemented without any problems. We also communicated with each other during the trip without unnecessary delay. We always received answers in a timely manner. The trip was fantastically prepared, so I can't even mention any potential problems. Everything worked perfectly. Thank you again Gail. I will look forward to our next trips to Africa.

Heidi Bedford curated our trip for my group of six friends whom come from widely disparate locations across the world. While we were able to outline what our goals in the beginning of our interaction with Pembury, it was Heidi's experience that made a good trip - GREAT!

She planned all the details for the 3+ week African experience, allowing us to enjoy traveling without the typical problems associated with multiple flights across multiple countries. Even when there were complications on a weekend, Heidi came through and straightened things out.

The recommended tour operators (of which there were many) each came through with outstanding guides, providing personalized service and outstanding adventures - from game preserves in the bush; to nature in Cape Town's biodiversity; to history in the capital and finally to enjoying wine country.

Our tour with Pembury tours was customized for our group of 6.
It was absolutely perfect from being picked up at the airports, the tour guides (who were the best), the safaris we went on, the food (delicious) and the accommodations.
Any last minute additions were handled with ease by Heidi (A+)
