An amazing trip to Tanzania with Somewhere in Africa
We had an amazing trip to Tanzania with Somewhere in Africa. We spent nine unforgettable days exploring the country with our guide, Karim. The itinerary was fantastic and perfectly organized.
We saw an incredible variety of wildlife, visited inspiring local community projects, and experienced some truly unique and beautiful places.
Karim was outstanding. We couldn't have wished for a better guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and always chose routes and experiences that were different from the crowds, making our safari even more special. He was professional, friendly, and great company throughout the trip. By the end of our journey, he truly felt like part of our travel group.
We highly recommend Somewhere in Africa to anyone who wants to discover the beauty of Tanzania. It was an unforgettable experience!

Louise and I stayed at Koosje’s house for 2,5 weeks with the organisation Somewhere in Africa. Thanks to Koosje’s incredible hospitality, the volunteer house immediately felt like home. Together with the other volunteers, we had a wonderful 2,5 weeks there. I can highly recommend this to everyone!!

Friendly, relaxed, and knowledgeable guide who made the whole tour unforgettable.
We had an amazing experience with Somewhere In Africa! Our guide was very friendly, relaxed, and always made us feel comfortable. Everything was well organized, and the communication was clear throughout the tour.
The guide shared lots of interesting information about the animals and nature and always searched for the best spots to give us the highest chance of seeing wildlife. Thanks to his effort, we were able to see so many amazing animals, which made our safari truly unforgettable.
The included food was also very tasty and well arranged. We highly recommend Somewhere In Africa to anyone looking for a reliable tour operator with excellent service and a fantastic guide!

We had an unforgettable trip thanks to our guide Amani.
Our guide, Amani, took us through various national parks in Tanzania over the course of nine days. I personally hoped we would encounter lions; that alone would have made the trip complete for me. We didn't just come across a single lion—we saw dozens of them. They were so close you could almost touch them. Right from that first day in the truck, we were absolutely amazed by what we saw: lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs. Oh man, we enjoyed it so much.
Our guide was key to those unforgettable impressions. He knew where to look and had a wealth of information to share about the animals, speaking with great respect for the parks and their wild inhabitants. This is important, because the Serengeti does not exist for us tourists; it is the animals' territory, and one treats it with respect.
Every evening, Amani would come by to go over the itinerary with us. No request was too much trouble, and he took all the time needed to show us the most beautiful spots. His love for nature has been an inspiration to us.

Highly personalized safari with smooth execution
We found that this trip offered great value for money. During organisation communication with Nuhu was very smooth with immediate answers via WhatsApp.
We could really personalise our tour, all our special wishes were built into the programme. Our family of four had a jeep for just us. The lodges and camps were great, even our gluten-free child got catered for everywhere.
Our guide, Rogers, was very friendly and is a great driver, which is essential on the bumpy roads of the national parks (and generally the whole country). He went above and beyond to find rare animals, so we could see all of the Big Five. He covered the larger distances with ease, always stocked the jeep fridge with enough drinks.
All in all we had a great time and recommend Somewhere in Africa wholeheartedly.
