Gilbert & Ozzy were the dynamic duo we needed for this trip. Not only were they both extremely knowledgeable, their sense of humor and enthusiasm about their work made us all the more interested and excited to explore more everyday. Gilbert was very personable and very keen on giving us the best experience possible. Both Ozzy & Gilbert told us about their home lives and showed us how hard working all Tanzanian people are.
They’re goated and if you want the best safari guides and people, go with Lion King’s Gilbert and Ozzy.

We changed our plans at the last minute and decided to book a **5-day private safari in Tanzania**. Through SafariBookings, we quickly received a very competitive offer directly from Lion King Adventures.

Rebecca did an excellent job designing our itinerary. She understood all our wishes, incorporated every detail, and put together exactly the safari we had hoped for.

Once the payment was completed through a secure process, Rose took over the operational planning. She kept us well informed and gave us confidence that everything would run smoothly—and it did.

Our safari exceeded all expectations. Benny, our driver and guide, was highly professional, knowledgeable, and always attentive to our needs.

Without going into every detail, from the first enquiry to the last day of our trip, everything was perfectly organised. From A to Z, it was a truly memorable holiday, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. We highly recommend Lion King Adventures.

Our safari with Lion King Adventures was outstanding from start to finish. Communication throughout the planning process was prompt and clear, making everything easy and stress-free. Once we arrived, every detail was handled professionally, and the team proved to be reliable and organized throughout the trip.

Our guide, Camillus, was fantastic. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to spot wildlife made every game drive exciting and unforgettable. We saw an incredible variety of animals and learned so much along the way.

The entire experience exceeded our expectations, and the quality of the service made it an excellent value for the money. We highly recommend Lion King Adventures to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. Five stars!

Loved Lion King Adventures and Our Safari Guide Oswald

From the minute we met Oswald/Ozzy, he was very nice and made us feel comfortable. He knows everything about all the amazing animals we saw (the Big Five and more!), the culture, and plant life. He’s just an all around great and kind person with a fun sense of humor.

Ozzy made sure to let us know what to expect with our schedule each day - what time we were leaving the hotel, when we’d have lunch, etc. The lunches during the safari drives were delicious, whether we were at a picnic site, under the shade of a tree in the Serengeti, or with a view of the hippos in Ngorongoro Crater. We appreciated that they were a bit varied each day.

Ozzy kept the vehicle clean each day and the cooler well stocked with sodas, waters, juice, wine, and beer. He also made sure to take us on plenty of bathroom breaks and since it was hot during a couple of the days, I was definitely drinking a lot of water and needed to use it.

All the hotels in our mid-luxury package were nice and Nyota was our favorite (great staff too). We could see giraffes and dik-diks from the pool and dining areas. So cool. The breakfasts and dinners at each place were also quite good. And the hotels had made the lunches that I had mentioned as well.

Ozzy was patient with us whether we wanted to look at an animal longer or were running a little late in the mornings. During one safari drive, my hat flew off my head and he bravely got it for me with a lion in sight!

On our last day, we were headed to the Mt Kilimanjaro airport. We had asked if it was possible to see the mountain on the way there and since we had some time to kill, he went out of his way to take us to a spot where we could get a better view of it. So nice.

This was my first time going on a safari and I loved it. It’s definitely the most expensive trip I’ve been on given I flew from California to Arusha, but it was well worth it. I love animals and it was such an amazing experience. Would highly recommend Ozzy and Lion King Adventures to anyone looking to explore Tanzania wildlife.

What an adventure! We picked Lion King Adventures for their reasonable price, but we got TOP TIER SERVICE anyway! The lodgings were awesome! Our driver and guide Maji became our dear friend and he was the main reason that we loved this safari adventure sooo much! His thorough knowledge of Africa’n culture and its natural environment were amazing. The vehicle was comfortable and new and safe. Maji found all the big 5 for us and a whole lot more. I got a whole lot of great photos and we are so sad to leave Africa!
