My family and I had a spectacular 10 day trip with Cari Local African Safaris over New Year. Their representative, Rose, answered every question we had during the planning stage promptly and accurately, giving us confidence we were working with an honest, reputable and professional company. She helped us design an itinerary which gave good variety, whilst staying within our budget. The safari itself was magnificent. Our driver and guide, Gama, was both knowledgeable, personable and fun, striking an instant rapport with my two boys, while also being able to discuss the nature and habits of the animals in more detail with my husband, and giving us the feeling we were in experienced and trustworthy, hands. He also drove expertly, including through some very difficult terrain where other land cruisers got stuck. We saw every animal possible, many at close quarters - lions, cheetahs, and even a leopard, plus loads of elephants, hippos, giraffes, rhino, and herds of antelope. The accommodation (mid-range) was also exactly as described, clean, stylish and comfortable, with delicious food. We particularly loved our tented lodges, near and in the Serengeti, which felt very luxurious for the price. We ended our trip with three glorious days in Zanzibar, also arranged by Rose. The whole trip was a life changing, memorable experience for our whole family. I cannot recommend Rose, Gama, and Cari Safaris highly enough.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 Day Northern Tanzania Birding and Safari Tour with Cari Local African Safaris.
Cari deserves the 5 stars because they delivered everything promised in their well presented quote and itinerary.
I am amazed at what we managed to see and do in our 7 days. Birding exceeded expectations with many rare species sighted thanks to the keen eye and experience of our guide Emanuel. The safari drives delivered much more than the big five. We walked close to giraffes at Arusha NP, saw herds of elephants at Tarangire, tens of thousands of flamingo at Lake Natron, lions, cheetahs, leopards and all the herds in the Serengeti and finally the black rhinos in the Ngorongoro Crater.
We also stayed in a Maasai boma and gained some insight into the Maasai culture on evening and morning walks with delightful young men from the community.
Thanks Rose for all the organising you did that made this trip such a memorable experience.

We had an amazing week in Tanzania with our guide Rose and game driver Charles. The two of them gave us a truly unforgettable experience! Charles was able to provide us amazing game sightings that far exceeded our expectations. Rose and Charles both also shared so much about Tanzania with us and it was incredible to get such great insight to a wonderful place. This will be a trip that we remember for a lifetime and hope to return again one day.

I choose this safari because it offered a complete tour to see the wildebeest migration and because it is run by women, and women put their heart into it. Trust me they are very professional. The safari was very good in all parks we visited, the lodges were fantastic, also the tented camps were also very comfortable. Food was very good, in any occasion.
Special thanks to ROSE, who helped us in any occasion (even with the problems we had with PRECISION AIR, that we booked by ourselves, so it was not her responsibility).
We want also to thank Iddy, our driver, very knowledgeable, tks to his experience we could see the wildebeest migration in a very good position.

Very good company, they organized everything properly, from the transfer from the hotel to the return to the airport, everything was handled properly.
They always answered us on WhatsApp when we had questions, the accommodations were good, the driver Gamma was very professional, he managed to show us the entire safari to the maximum, we saw all the big five.
