Dream tour of National parks
5/5

The tour operator Leticia has been efficient in organizing a perfect trips for my family and friends, booking clea and typical accomodations located in logical order to visits all parks. The guide Dan has been a knowleadgeable and experienced driver able to bring us in the best spot to watch animals or beautiful landscapes. He accomodated all our requests and the jeep was always full of water and soft drink. Dan is friendly and we would reccommend him for any trip across Tanzania as he will make your trips a dream.

The entire team at Golden Trips were friendly, hard working, fun, and went above and beyond!
5/5

JOEL at Golden Trips put together an unforgettable African Experience! I would 100% recommend using his company and crew and, if I get the opportunity when my kids are older, I hope to use them again one day. He customized the trip to our groups' preferences, and even changed it several times with no complaint when we added a couple more people last minute. Our trip was in two parts: A safari the first week and climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro the second.

During our first week, we took a Safari in Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP, Ngorongoro Crater, and also included a cultural experience with 3 local tribes. Our Safari guide ERIC worked really hard to make sure we saw as much as possible. We didn't see all the big 5, but we saw pretty much everything else, including rivers full of hippo, thousands of zebra, the wildebeest crossing the Mara River, several male lions (extremely close!), a female lion hunting, and so many baby animals (elephants, giraffes, lions and more!). We had many personalized experiences including a walking tour in Tarangire NP, a night tour in Lake Manyara NP, and the hot air balloon trip over the Serengeti (highly hightly recommend this). Each of the camps we stayed at were clean, well serviced, and relaxing. The food was delicious and the people were a lot of fun. The value for the cost was very good!

Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro was memorable to say the least! It was challenging and extremely rewarding. The crew that took us up was perhaps one of the best on the mountain. DICKSON and NOAH were our guides and I highly recommend requesting them. They were good sports and a lot of fun with our crazy group! The crew carried our gear, cooked our food, set up and took down our tent every day, and still had great attitudes, taught us about the mountain's history and ecology, and managed to make us laugh a lot. CHEEKS was our chef and he makes a mean zucchini soup (I still want that recipe!) and AY was my personal porter and our group waiter. He was up every morning to wake us with hot tea and warm water to wash with. He was unbelievably strong and I am grateful to him for helping me be successful on the mountain!

On summit day, one of our group got some mountain sickness at the top and lost some of his coordination. Dickson and Noah rushed into action, took him arm in arm, and rushed him down the mountain to safety. One of our porters, Ay, also helped a lot to bring him safely down. I don't think we would have been able to help him descend by ourselves, so I owe a debt of gratitude to our guides for the safety of this member of our group. I know if he were in critical condition, they would have had the means to call for additional help. They pushed us enough to be successful, but kept each day at a pace that was tailored to our skills and needs. In the end, we all summited and made it home safely.

All in all, I would absolutely recommend this group for their reliability, good communication, excellent customer service, providing a great product and just genuinely great people. They work very hard to give you a memorable experience, and they certainly succeeded for us!

Exceptional Safari and Kilimanjaro Experience....Incredible!
5/5

I had the pleasure of experiencing Tanzania with Golden Trips. Let me just say that it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Not only was Golden Trips organized, they went out of their way on every detail to make the experience incredible beyond words. We worked very closely with Joel and let me tell you he is an amazing manager. He took care of ever detail, met with us personally, and treated us well - honestly it was beyond words and made leaving feel like we were leaving family (and that's not an exaggeration). Next time I go to Tanzania I will text Joel on WhatsApp without hesitation. The GTT operation with him, Ola, each of the guides, and the porters was world class.

My group started off with a week of safaris in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Eyasi. Eric was our guide throughout the week and was amazing....seriously bora kabisa! His ability to communicate with other guides to find animals (we saw lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeest (including a crossing!), giraffes, hyenas, and so much more), and treat us like family was incredible. Accommodations were also out of this world. The safari camps were comfortable, had great views, awesome entertainment, and the food was great. It was just amazing to finish a day of safari and relax in the camps with our guide and the kindest staff.

The following week we did the Lemosho route up Kilimanjaro. Our guides were Dickson and Noah and let me just say I honestly cannot picture more amazing and friendly guides. They were truly brothers to our little group. Their ability to guide was flexible to match our skill level, but also always safe and sufficiently cautious to make sure the trip was a success all around...and it was! Both Dickson and Noah have incredible mountaineering skills and knowledge about the mountain and the various environments you pass through. It was fun to hike with them because we'd stop and learn about the plant life, geology, and history of Kilimanjaro. My review would not be complete without mentioning Chicksi as well. He is the chef and let me tell you he is beyond 5 star (we jokingly, albeit 100% accurately, described him throughout the trek as 6 star). If you are used to backpacking like us - travelling light, freeze dried food, minimal accommodations - the food from GTT will absolutely blow your mind. Every meal was in the mess tent with full-sized camping chairs and table. The food was always in two to three courses starting with a soup or porridge (depending on the meal) then followed with some protein and veggies. My goodness it was delicious and there was way too much of it. We also ate plenty and had so much leftover I believe the crew was able to enjoy it - and they earned it many times over. I must also mention AY. He was our waiter and let me tell you he was the best waiter I've ever had anywhere in the world. From bringing warm water and tea in the morning, to filling our water bottles, to serving our meals he was always there to make sure we were in good shape. AY is someone that deserves the world...respect and so much appreciation to you my brother! Each of the porters (I worked with Erasto) were the nicest, most amazing people you'd ever want to meet. Seriously the entire attitude of everyone there was one of humor, kindness and helpfulness. Absolutely everyone would say hello, give you knuckles, and encourage you...all while passing you and carrying heavy gear. Seriously a sight to behold...I honestly cannot put into words how next level each person was in every way. Something many of us westerners should aspire to.

All my love and gratitude to GTT and Tanzania. I've had the opportunity to visit a lot of places on our beautiful planet but the experience with the people from GTT and Tanzania were absolutely top notch. I can't wait to bring my kids when they are a little older to visit my new brothers and friends.

Please book with GTT with full confidence!

Great tour – quick responses, smooth organization, and a well-planned itinerary!

The experience was truly incredible! What made the biggest difference was our guide, Edward – he was absolutely fantastic: super attentive, extremely knowledgeable, and always ready to answer any questions we had. Thanks to him, we were able to spot over 60 different animals, including witnessing the great wildebeest migration.

Edward was also amazing with our teenage children – especially with our son, who is incredibly curious and spent the entire day asking questions non-stop. Edward handled it all with patience, enthusiasm, and genuine care, which made the experience even more special for our family.

We did an intense 5-day safari, and throughout it all, the wildlife, the breathtaking scenery, and the overall organization were simply outstanding. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure – one we will never forget and wholeheartedly recommend to anyone considering a safari in Tanzania.

More than a operator, a friend.
