We found Camptrek through Safari Bookings and began a correspondence with Margaret. She was the best customer service representative imaginable. She listened to us and customized our trip accordingly. Our safari experience was all about the animals... and they were truly amazing! We visited the Masai Mara in Kenya, then flew to the Serengeti. We also visited Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park in Tanzania. We're an older couple and concentrated our experience on game drives. Our guide in Kenya, Brandon, was outstanding. His communication skills and sense of humor were top notch. We learned so much about the wildlife from him and had a great time doing it. Our guide/driver in Tanzania was also easy to hang out with, took good care of us, and even found us some rhinos -- the only animals from the Big 5 we hadn't seen yet. The 4 star rating instead of 5 is because some of our accommodations did not exactly live up to our expectations from a previous trip we took to Kruger in South Africa. We had chosen mainly bush tent camps and they were a bit rustic for us. However, all the staff were attentive and the food generous. Our trip was during the dry season and the rough unpaved roads gave us an "African massage" everyday, but the reward was seeing the incredible wildlife. Africa is a Feeling with Camptrek Safaris.

An Unforgettable East African Journey with Camptrek!

We’re just back from a multi-destination trip through Amboseli, the Masai Mara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro, topped off with a few days on the beach in Zanzibar. With so many moving parts, flights, and transfers across two countries, we were worried about logistics, but Camptrek made the whole thing feel totally effortless.
Rose planned everything for us, and her communication was spot-on from day one. She was always quick to reply, super organized, and made sure every single detail was sorted before we left. Once we landed, our guides—Eric, Ben, and Jackson took over and were brilliant throughout. They knew the parks inside out, spotted wildlife we’d have completely missed on our own, and kept long drive days relaxed and easy. Couldn't have asked for a better team to show us around Kenya and Tanzania.

We highly recommend Camptrek Safaris. We did a two week safari in Kenya and Tanzania and it was excellent in every respect. All of our guides (Stephen, Shabani, and Benny) were very knowledgeable, attentive, considerate, and personable. This is a top notch organization - very trustworthy, reliable, and competent. You won't go wrong in booking your tour with them!

With so many African safari operators, we are so happy that we chose CampTrek.
From the very beginning of the booking process there were no surprises and everything was straightforward, and any questions or concerns were answered almost immediately.
Our safari guides were absolutely fantastic, so full of knowledge, and made our dream vacation so much fun and exciting.
All of our accommodations were out of this world, we couldn’t believe the luxury that we had on an African safari, way above our expectations.
We would definitely recommend CampTrek, and if we ever decide to come back they will be the first ones we will contact.

Our guide was awesome full of knowledge, and we really enjoyed the quizzes.
The accommodations were incredible, we felt like royalty, it’s so awesome to have Elephants right outside your room within a few feet.
If I could give our guide, and the CampTrek Safari company a higher rating , it would definitely be 10 out of 10.

A Trip of a Lifetime with Camptrek Safaris
Our 15-day Kenya and Tanzania safari with Camptrek Safaris was truly the trip of a lifetime. From the very beginning to the very end, everything was incredibly well planned and organized, and we could not have asked for a better experience.
A special thank-you goes to Rose, who was so patient and helpful while planning our trip. She took the time to answer all of our questions and helped put together an itinerary that gave us an amazing variety of experiences. Once we arrived, our guides Ben, Shobani, and Robet made the safari even more special. They were knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and always worked hard to make sure we had the best possible experience.
We were fortunate enough to see the Big Five, along with several incredible leopard and lion sightings and lots of elephants in Amboseli, with the beautiful backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. The Masai Mara and Serengeti were massive parks with animals seemingly everywhere we looked. Every park we visited was different in its own way, and each one gave us new and exciting experiences.
One of the highlights was our hot-air balloon ride over the Masai Mara. Seeing the landscape and wildlife from above was absolutely breathtaking and something we will never forget. We were also lucky enough to witness a Great Migration river crossing, which was an incredible and unforgettable experience.
Visiting a Masai village was another meaningful part of our journey. We enjoyed meeting the people, learning about their culture and traditions, and hearing about how they live. It gave us a greater appreciation for the people and communities that are such an important part of Africa.
The Ngorongoro Crater was fascinating as well. It was amazing to see so many different animals living within such a unique and beautiful area. Everywhere we went, there was something new to discover.
We were also very pleased with the accommodations, meals, transportation, and overall organization of the trip. Everything was handled so well, which allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment without having to worry about the details.
This safari was so much more than just seeing incredible wildlife. It was the people we met, the places we visited, the incredible experiences we shared, and the memories we created together. Every day brought something special, and we came home with memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
We highly recommend Camptrek Safaris to anyone considering a safari in Kenya and Tanzania. They made our trip an incredible experience from beginning to end, and we are so grateful for everything they did to make our trip of a lifetime so memorable.
