Jonathan and the team at african fairytales were the best. Run by local people, they were incredibly responsive from the booking of the trip, tailoring of the itinerary and during the safari itself.

The experience of the safari was also great, you can tell that they are local and know the area and what is best to experience.

I couldn't recommend it more, It is trurly the smoothest experience i have had with a tour operator. If I am back in the area, I would absolutely go with them again.

Jonathan was the best guide we had on our 2 week trip to Africa this summer. He was very helpful and accommodating to several changes that we asked for. Extremely nice and great information he gave us the entire 4 days. Always on time and very good communication throughout the days we were with him. Will for sure use him again if we return to this area.

We had such a fantastic time on our trip — it honestly exceeded all our expectations and the entire team went above and beyond to accommodate our wishes. From the initial booking of the trip to our final drop off at the airport, everything was handled with care and professionalism. What really stood out was how flexible and attentive they were, always happy to adjust the schedule or suggest something extra to make the experience even better. Everything felt really tailored to us. The team was not only professional but also genuinely kind and reliable. We’ve come away with memories we’ll treasure for a lifetime. Can’t recommend them enough!

Service: overall, Johnathan and the rest of the people we interacted with were very kind. Everyone we came across, including the people in Chobe, made sure we were having fun and had everything we needed. Even for small requests, they were able to fulfill them. It was a great experience where we made meaningful connections with everyone we encountered.

Activities: We did Victoria Falls and Chobe National park, two days each. I would go back in a heart beat. For Chobe, in the morning was a game drive and afternoon was boat ride. For the second day, we were able to to a game drive both morning and afternoon, which paid off! The point is the team made it happen and allowed us to do the switch without hesitation or any problems.

Education: Johnathan was very knowledgeable of quite literally everything. He had a fun fact(s) about every animal we encountered, giving us history lessons about Victoria Falls, Chobe, and the town itself. I learned so much about African culture and the lives of so many animals. Don't hesitate to ask questions!
