Absolutely amazing experience with Calvin
We had a terrific experience in our safari in Tanzania with our wonderful guide Calvin Kelio! Calvin was patient and helpful, always with a smile on his face, and displaying an amazing wealth of knowledge about the wildlife around us. His impressive spotting abilities allowed us to view a fantastic array of animals, not in the least cheetah cubs and the rare leopard. His lunch setup, with a full set of table cloths, cutlery, and plates, allowed us to enjoy our meals every day. Overall, Calvin gave us the best possible intro to safari tours, and provided an amazing trip!
Awesome safari tour with a wonderful guide, great accommodations and superb food.
We had a wonderful experience on our first safari tour in Tanzania(Serengeti, Ndutu, Ngorongoro crater, Lake Natron) with Calvin Kelio. He was very patient, always had a smile on his face and helped us stay on schedule while at the same time giving us more time to rest whenever needed. Thanks to him, we were able to see all the animals up close on our safari including the elusive leopards. Calvin is extremely knowledgeable about all the animals and birds. We also appreciated the fresh lunch served with full cutlery and plates in the middle of nowhere complete with tablecloth etc. Highly recommend these safari tours with Gosheni and especially with Calvin.

Our family had the privilege of spending nine unforgettable days on safari with Calvin Kileo from Gosheni Safaris, and we truly could not have asked for a better guide. Calvin has an extraordinary gift for spotting wildlife and an equally wonderful way of sharing cultural insights that brought every landscape and moment to life. He was endlessly patient, thoughtful, and accommodating, making each day feel effortless and deeply memorable. This once‑in‑a‑lifetime journey—through Lake Victoria, the Serengeti, Ndutu, and Lake Norton—was also made possible thanks to Maliwaza from Gosheni Safaris, whose meticulous planning, kindness, and support ensured everything came together perfectly. We are profoundly grateful to both Calvin and Maliwaza for creating an experience our family will cherish forever.
Attentive and reliable
Booking through Gosheni safaris has been a great experience. Bariki, our safari guide, was so welcoming and patient from the beginning of our tour. He was very knowledgeable of the history in Tanzania and also an amazing driver. My whole family learned so much about the culture of the Masai people, the many different tribes of Africa, and the wide variety of animals and birds vasting from the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and the Tarengeri national parks. Bariki did everything for us to have an incredible time here in Tanzania and experience the many different emotions that it brings.
Also The food was incredible and was spot on as well. The 5 day safari was the way to go. We stayed at some incredible safari camps/eco lodges as well. Thank you Gosheni safari for the incredible experience.

Very good well recommend
We decided to travel to Tanzania in December for a safari trip. Due to a tight schedule, we chose to visit Tarangire National Park for one day and Ngorongoro Crater for one day.
We were accompanied by our driver and guide, Hubert — a wonderful person: patient, highly knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing his knowledge with us. He went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed and made the experience truly special.
The company provided an excellent safari vehicle — brand new (2025 model), very comfortable, and without a single issue throughout the trip.
We chose our own accommodations, and our selections — Serena Tarangire and Serena Ngorongoro — were absolutely perfect. The food was very good, the rooms were clean, and the lodges themselves were stunning in terms of location and views.
The only issue we encountered during the entire trip was the packed lunch provided on the day we left the Serena lodge. When we arrived at the park and opened the lunch boxes, the food was quite disappointing. However, it’s important to note that the food at the lodges themselves was above expectations — the only problem was with the takeaway lunch we received that day.
Overall, we highly recommend Gosheni Safaris Africa, and especially our wonderful guide Hubert, whom we appreciated greatly.
