Unforgettable
This was a great honeymoon trip. During our Safari stay, we experienced different accommodations and saw all the big 5 animals. Our guide Fazil was a great person, and Gasper also prepared some nice surprises for us. Their house has a high cost performance ratio and the itinerary is also very well arranged。

A definitely brilliant experience in Safari
We sincerely thank Derick from Pilgrimage Safaris. After carefully comparing several companies, we confidently chose Pilgrimage because of Derick's smooth communication, attractive proposals, and his consistently prompt and professional responses. When we encountered an issue during the trip, he worked to find a solution even late at night and provided a resolution first thing the next morning, ensuring our safari ended without regret.
A special thanks to our guide, Benjamin. His professionalism was outstanding. On our final day, he diligently searched the entire plains with us to find a cheetah and successfully made it happen — a truly memorable experience.
Although Pilgrimage is a relatively new company, we were deeply impressed by their quality of communication and the thoroughness of their arrangements. We wholeheartedly wish them continued growth and success.
Based on our firsthand experience, we'd like to share some detailed suggestions:
For future travelers: If you have specific animals you hope to see (like cheetahs) or particular requests for your guide, we recommend communicating this clearly with the tour operator in advance. This way, even though wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, the company and guide will be aware of and can prioritize your expectations, allowing for more tailored arrangements.
For Pilgrimage: It would be excellent if you could proactively ask guests about their special hopes and strive to assign the most suitable and excellent guides. Also, given the significant dust in the Serengeti, providing some disposable masks for both guests and guides would be a very thoughtful and practical detail.
For everyone: Simply savor every moment in the Serengeti — everything here is truly one of a kind.

A professional operator delivering safe Kilimanjaro climbs and memorable safaris.
Our two-week private Kilimanjaro climbing and safari tour through Tanzania Pilgrimage Safari was truly exceptional.
From the very beginning, the communication was clear, professional, and reassuring. Joel carefully listened to our wishes and arranged a well-balanced itinerary that perfectly suited our family.
The Kilimanjaro climb was extremely well organized. Our guides were experienced, attentive, and always prioritized safety while encouraging us every step of the way. Thanks to their excellent support, even our 10-year-old child was able to reach the summit safely, which made the experience even more meaningful for our family.
The safari portion was equally unforgettable. We saw an incredible variety of wildlife, and overall the logistics were handled smoothly.
At the beginning of the trip, we stayed at a hotel that did not fully meet our expectations, but the team responded quickly and arranged a change without any trouble, which we truly appreciated.
During the safari, our vehicle got stuck in the mud twice. It was handled on site, but based on this experience, bringing a rope could be useful, especially during muddy conditions.
Overall, this tour exceeded our expectations in every way. We are deeply grateful to Tanzania Pilgrimage Safari for creating such a memorable and meaningful experience, and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering a Kilimanjaro climb or safari in Tanzania.

Great safari
It was an excellent safari experience from start to finish. From the very first inquiry, through the booking process, to the actual execution of the trip, everything went exactly as planned and as promised. Our safari guide was outstanding — highly experienced, knowledgeable, and truly passionate — which made the entire experience even more special. Overall, it was a fantastic journey and I would highly recommend Tanzania Pilgrimage for safari to anyone visiting Africa.

Almost 5 star safari on a budget
I traveled solo during the low season and wanted to experience a safari in Tanzania on a budget. Joining a group was the only realistic way to make that happen. I booked the tour about five months in advance and chose mid-range accommodation.
Because travelers in my group stayed in different accommodation categories (budget, mid-range, and luxury), there was additional time spent each day picking everyone up — sometimes up to an extra hour of driving. It wasn’t ideal, but I understood it as part of a mixed-group setup, especially during the low season.
Derick handled the arrangements and was friendly and easy to communicate with. The company used vehicles and guides from another operator, which I assume is a common practice during low season to consolidate groups.
The only unpleasant aspect was that two out of six nights my accommodation was slightly downgraded without advance notice. Better communication here would have made a difference. That said, it didn’t overshadow the overall experience.
I was asked in advance about food preferences, but no special arrangements were actually made. I adjusted and simply avoided meat and chicken in the lunch and breakfast boxes, which was manageable but worth noting for travelers with stricter dietary requirements.
The safari itself was outstanding. Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire were unforgettable, and the guides, vehicles, and Serengeti lodge were genuinely five-star in terms of the overall experience.
In most lodges (except the first and last nights in Arusha), there was no internet in the rooms — only in common areas like dining or reception — something to be aware of if connectivity matters to you.
Overall, the safari experience was excellent and deeply rewarding. For a solo traveler on a budget, it delivered exactly what I came for: remarkable wildlife, strong guiding, and unforgettable days in Tanzania’s national parks
