Although I wasn't confident of this operator at the start, we had an amazing experience with a great transfer driver and Aquilla is an amazing resort with great food and a brilliant spa and wellness centre

The service was outstanding. From the moment I booked, until after my trip, Gems of Africa was excellent. Great value for money, amazing hospitality at the lodge, the accommodation was so stunning and excalty what we wanted from our time on our safari. When I changed a few things, nothing was an issue. It was dealt with easily. Would definitely use again and I would highly recommend.

The booking rep responded very patiently to my questions. Our safari was priced more reasonably than I expected. The food at the preserve was delicious, a good variety served, and all staff members were helpful and friendly. The balcony view as fabulous. We had never been on a safari, &
we didn’t know what to expect. On a preserve it was much easier 2 c game than had we visited 1 of the large national parks in Africa. However, it seemed there were 2 many people going through the preserve and the animals were 2 used 2 seeing people. This was particularly true for the lions that were separated from the other animals. This gave it a zoo like feel.

Gems of Africa were wonderful to work with as we looked for a place to stay for our honeymoon in Kruger Park. They got us an amazing rate at the lodge we stayed at and were very helpful and responsive during the entire process. Would definitely recommend!

Thank to the tour operator , we were able to book the remaining room at the safari. Tour operator was good with communication throughout the booking and trip. Everything was well taken care of from hotel transfer , check-in and accommodation. We have a fabulous time at the Aquila private game reserve and the safari.
