Great Service and an Unforgettable Kenya Trip
Booking our safari with Blue Lilac was an excellent decision. It was important to us to work with a local, Kenya-based agency, and from the first contact we felt genuinely taken care of. We had a very specific route in mind for our eight-day trip to Kenya in November, and our travel consultant, Faith, found a way to include all our wishes while remaining flexible with any adjustments we requested.
Before, during, and after our safari, Blue Lilac was always available and made sure everything ran smoothly. The safari itself exceeded our expectations—thanks to the great company of our driver-guide Timan, unforgettable game drives, and magical moments like spotting giraffes with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.
Overall, our trip with Blue Lilac offered great value and was an experience we can wholeheartedly recommend.
Wonderful, Ethical Company
Blue Lilac is amazing. They built a custom trip for me based on my goals. I visited national parks in Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda and saw wildlife closer than I ever imagined, to include the Big 5 and mountain gorillas and chimpanzees. The guides were wonderful, the hotels were fantastic, and the food was delicious. My entire trip was seamless, which is incredible given that I chose overland travel and they coordinated across countries with different languages and customs. This trip far exceeded my expectations. Thank you very much to Edna and her team for a dream come true trip that I will never forget.

Our guide Teddy was very knowledgeable, friendly and made every game drive unforgettable. Edward and Edna were incredible reliable, accommodating and truly dedicated to making our trip special. I started planning my dream trip to Africa a year ago and was so confused by all the different things to do and places to see and how to coordinate it all. A friend got me in contact with Blue Lilac in February, and having never worked with a tour company before I thought that it would probably be too much and not worth…I was way wrong! I did a side by side analysis of their quote and what it would take to do things myself (but obviously not as good or thorough as I don’t have their knowledge). And and it was almost the same price for me to do it that way. So point for them…they keep it affordable. Next they really worked one on one with me to make the trip what I really wanted and dreamed about. Another point for them….easy to work with. Next I always had A LOT of questions as I was preparing for this trip. Edna at Blue Lilac was always quick to reply, and so helpful. She was even able to help when I was nervous that my Tanzania visa wasn’t going to come in time. Two more points for over the top help! Packing lists, lists of things to prepare, you name it, they helped out. Next came the trip itself. Blue lilac put together my dream vacation and the transfers, guides, accommodations, EVERYTHING exceeded our expectations. Our family consists of me, my husband and 3 kids ages 10,13 and 15. They planned the perfect trip the kept every one of us engaged and happy. 5 points for them. The friendly service and personal touches have won us over and made us feel like friends and family. I would definitely use them for more vacations. Blue Lilac Tours was amazing!
