We chose to celebrate my 40th birthday with a safari together with my wife and our two daughters (3 and 7 years old), and it turned out to be one of the most special experiences of our lives.

Everything was perfectly organized, smooth, and stress-free, which is exactly what you need when traveling with young children. But what truly made the difference was the people behind the experience.

A very special thank you to Happy Mukas, who went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. His care, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made us feel not just like clients, but like guests. He made sure every moment was meaningful and tailored to our family.

For our little princesses, this was pure magic, seeing animals in the wild, discovering nature, and living an adventure they will remember for a lifetime.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for creating such a beautiful and memorable experience for our family. We truly hope to come back again one day.

Telly Africa Safari was an excellent tour operator and handled all the practical arrangements flawlessly — from flights and transfers to accommodation and the safari itself. It was a full-service package that we can warmly recommend.

Catherine was very easy to reach and responded to all the questions we had.

The highlight of the safari was our outstanding driver and guide, Uno, who approached his work with incredible passion and energy. His mission was to ensure we saw all the magnificent animals and truly made the most of the entire safari experience.

We had an absolutely unforgettable safari experience with Telly Africa Safaris during our game drive in Mikumi National Park. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organised, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the beauty of the wildlife and landscapes.

We were due to fly into Nyerere NP for a one day, private game drive however due to a technical fault with the aircraft the flight was cancelled by the airline.

Telly Africa Safaris did everything in their power to ensure that we got to mainland Tanzania and booked us on a flight the very next day however to Mikumi NP instead. We were not disappointed…

A special thank you goes to the organiser, Happy Mukas, whose professionalism and attentiveness truly made the trip exceptional. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and she was always available, ensuring we were comfortable, informed, and having the best possible experience throughout the safari.

The guide was knowledgeable, the vehicle was comfortable, and the entire journey felt safe, smooth, and well-coordinated. We saw incredible wildlife and created memories that will last a lifetime.

I highly recommend Telly Africa Safaris to anyone looking for a well-organised, professional, and truly memorable safari adventure in Tanzania!

We had the most incredible 5-day safari with Telly Africa Safari and honestly couldn’t recommend them more highly.

From the very beginning, everything was extremely well organised and seamless. We specifically wanted to book with a local operator after doing our research, and we’re so glad we chose Telly Africa Safari. Salome was our first point of contact and she was fantastic — responsive, helpful, and she organised everything perfectly, including our airport pick-up and drop-off. The whole process felt smooth, straightforward and stress-free.

Our guide and driver, Davie, was exceptional. His knowledge of the animals and birds was outstanding, and you could really tell how passionate and experienced he is. He always positioned the vehicle perfectly for sightings and was so patient and attentive. Nothing was ever a problem for him, and he truly made the experience special. We had such a wonderful time with him and learned so much throughout the trip.

The entire safari exceeded our expectations — amazing wildlife, beautiful lodges, and a team that genuinely cares about delivering a fantastic experience.

We would absolutely book with Telly Africa Safari again and would recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.
