An unforgettable experience in Uganda with Jaz Abaho
We were three Austrian couples and a Ugandan friend who spent 12 days traveling through Uganda with Jaz Abaho, the owner of Wild Compass Africa. We explored the less-travelled eastern, northern, and central regions of Uganda, including Sipi Falls, Kidepo, and Murchison Falls National Parks. We also visited a goat-breeding project in a Karamojong village and an Ankole cattle herd. Jaz is a very safe driver and has a very pleasant personality. He is highly educated and possesses a deep knowledge of African cultural heritage as well as wildlife and birdlife and many other topics, which he loves to share. Jaz is a talented photographer and therefore a great guide for other photographers! We enjoyed every minute of this tour and recommend Wild Compass Africa to anyone interested in a cultural or wildlife tour in East Africa.

Excellent guide to travel Uganda
As a solo female traveler, I felt completely comfortable traveling with Jaz. He’s incredibly entertaining, funny, and open-minded - and he always made sure I was having a good time. Unfortunately, I came down with food poisoning at one point during the trip, Jaz took it very seriously—brought me to the hospital, made sure I was okay, had everything I needed and that I was still able to see as much as possible. I’m so grateful for this.
I can’t recommend him enough. If you’re going to Uganda, definitely travel with Jaz! He shared so many fascinating insights and stories on the wildlife and life itself - that made my trip really special.

Our trip with Jaz was great. He is polite and friendly. He knows a lot of things about animal and widlife in general. We spent great time togheter. Finally he is a great photographer and he taught me how to use my camera. We will choose him for our next african trip.

Uganda was an incredible trip and a big reason for that was JAZzzz the man...
He was patient with us, always accommodating whatever we asked for without a single complaint. Uganda is all about the drives and treks and everything in between.. and Jaz handled it all so well, from the scenic routes to the food stops, the street markets and the beautiful stays along the way.. we wrapped up the trip dancing and laughing at a local party with his friends, the perfect way to end and an already unforgettable journey..

The journey of a lifetime
The best trip thanks to the best guide. The two-week trip to Uganda was perfectly organized, without any hiccups or changes in plans. Perfect. But that's just a plan... If it weren't for Jaz, it would have been just another trip, and it was the greatest adventure of a lifetime. We found the perfect man who is not only a great driver and guide, but also a true animal lover and an excellent photographer. Thanks to him, each subsequent safari was a true adventure. We left our hearts in Uganda and gained a friend. Jaz, our gratitude cannot be expressed in words. We highly recommend him to all animal lovers.
