A Amazing 8 day Safari trip with Charles
We would like to highly recommend Charles (and his trainee, Pumba) our safari guide, whose professionalism and warmth made our entire Tanzania experience unforgettable. From the very beginning, communication during the planning and booking process was smooth, clear, and responsive. Every question we had was answered promptly, and we felt confident and well-informed before even landing.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome that immediately made us feel at ease. Charles & Pumba's hospitality set the tone for the trip, and from the first moment, we knew we were in great hands.
Throughout the safari, the depth of their knowledge about wildlife, landscapes, and local culture was nothing short of remarkable. I had the incredible opportunity to experience a 6-day safari from 22/04/2025 in Tanzania with Maasai African Guides DMC, and I can confidently say it was one of the most unforgettable adventures of my life. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism by the team. Every detail of our journey from ,accommodation to daily game drives was thoughtfully curated.
Our guide was knowledgeable, fun, and deeply passionate about wildlife and conservation. We explored iconic parks like Serengeti, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro Crater, and saw everything from lions and elephants to cheetahs and flamingos. What made it even more special was the personal touch and cultural insights the team shared along the way.

Charles was always available to help us design our safari route, and he was fantastic.
Our guide, Barto, has been outstanding, always going the extra mile to ensure we had the best possible experience. He has been attentive to the children at all times, found perfect spots and angles to photograph the animals, and every morning we found the vehicle clean with a bottle of water at each seat. He’s always looking for the animals the kids request—giraffes, zebras, gazelles, hyenas, wildebeests, lions, servals, birds, leopards, cheetah... He has infinite patience.
The value for money is the best I have ever found. We will definitely come back to Tanzania. We did a 6-day safari visiting Tarangire, Serengeti, the Migration at Ndutu, and Ngorongoro. The safari was amazing, and the night safari in Tarangire was truly a highlight. The lodges were fantastic (although the Arusha hotel could use a little improvement).
The Maasai African Guides team also made sure to check in on the last day to see what went well and where improvements could be made. Exceptional local tour operators with fantastic communication and problem-solving skills.
his was the best trip of our lives, and we can’t wait to return!
