Had a great time, my guide was professional, friendly and knowledgable. He was also very fun to talk to. The lodge I stayed at was very nice. There were zebras grazing in the lawn. My guide had high quality binoculars on the trip for me to use, and whenever needed, he would find a way to be as close to the animals as possible. He communicated well about tour timings, and kept everything on schedule. Would recommend booking with Iyana, and if you get Samson as your driver-guide, you should know you're in good hands!

Very experienced guide helped us made the most out of a short trip

My wife and I visited in early January and our time was constrained by my conference schedule. We had only two days for the safari and looked for a compact itinerary. It was a short notice but Iyana responded quickly to my inquiry. We communicated through email and it was overall smooth. Iyana provided us with a suitable time arrangement and a menu of accommodation options, which I appreciate a lot. We finally decided to stay at Sarova Mara Camp, and the stay was quite good.

Samson was our guide and he made it a completely worthy trip. We did only an afternoon game drive on the first day and a morning drive on the second because of our tight schedule, but Samson led us to see most of the big 5 and the ugly 5. It was especially exciting for me to spot a cheetah twice. I cannot ask for more for such a short trip.

Overall, I am greatly satisfied with the experience provided by Iyana, and I believe they are worthy of more exposure as a relatively young business. I wish them the best.

I had only 10 days notice before go to Kenya, but I want very much do short safari in Masai Mara. I contact Iyana Africa Tours and Safaris, wow they very fast! Nicholas reply in just one hour, give clear price and good 2-day plan exactly what I ask. No many emails back and forth, very quick and make me feel safe for last minute booking.
The safari was fantastic, unforgettable! Our guide Patrik very good, know a lot about animals and park, tell funny stories and make us laugh. He drive careful but good on bumpy road, always put us best place see animals without rush or danger. We see Big Five: lions, leopard (my favorite!), elephants, buffalo, rhino. Landscape so beautiful too. Short trip but see so much more than I think. I recommend Iyana Africa Tours very much for quick Masai Mara trip. Thank you Nicholas and Patrik, you make my Kenya dream come true!

My partner and I had an unforgettable 4-day safari in Kenya with Iyana Africa Tours and Travels. From the serene boat ride on Lake Naivasha to the breathtaking walk on Crescent Island, every moment was magical. We continued to Lake Nakuru, explored the dramatic landscapes of Hell’s Gate, and ended with the ultimate highlight in Masai Mara.
Thanks to our incredible guide, Samson, we spotted all of the Big Five. His deep knowledge of the park and uncanny ability to predict where animals might be hiding made the experience extraordinary. Samson truly stood out and added that special touch that made our safari feel unique and personal.
We couldn’t have asked for a better adventure and highly recommend Iyana Africa Tours and Travels to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable safari experience.

Fantastic Safari with Iyana! We received excellent support throughout the planning process, with clear and smooth communication from the company. They were very flexible and willing to adjust the itinerary to suit our needs, which we really appreciated. We were also very happy with the accommodation arrangements throughout the trip.

In addition, we were extremely satisfied with our guide, Samson, who truly made the experience extraordinary. You are very lucky if you get Samson as your guide. He genuinely cared about our well-being, was pleasant and easy to spend time with, and did everything possible to ensure we had an amazing safari experience. His knowledge of wildlife and local culture was outstanding, and he gave us deep and valuable insights into both Kenyan wildlife and culture.

We had many great conversations along the way, which really contributed to making this trip unforgettable.
