Wonderful travel experience
We just returned from the “Great Migration” safari in Tanzania, which includes Arusha, Karatu, Tarangire National Park, Southern Serengeti, Central Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. The level of accommodation and services offered by Savannah Explorers has always been on top. To all those who worked for this: THANK YOU. A special thank goes to our driver-guide, John Apsalom; as a driver he was always very careful (which we really appreciated) and always calm; as a guide he was exceptional, he took us everywhere he could to let us watch animals, he gave us explanations about their life, he told us about the traditions of Tanzania, always with great passion. Jon was so knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.
This was a trip of a lifetime. It exceeded our expectations in every way! The food was great, our guide, Jon, was exceptional! We saw SO many animals and learned so much about them as well as the plant life. Everything was well organized and we felt completely safe throughout the experience. The company added little special touches that we did not notice with some of the other groups we encountered. We highly recommend Savannah Explorers!

Amazing experience
We had a wonderful 5-day trip in Tanzania Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire with Savannah Explorers. Our ranger Isaac explained so much about all the places where we have been. On top of it we had a balloonflight in Serengeti, that's really amazing! We had a lodge and tented camps, all perfect places! Nice, clean, good food, nice people. All good! Definitely a wonderful experience!

I spent a wonderful holiday organised by Savannah Explorers
I spent 3 days in a tent camp close to the Nyerere Camp; in the first day we had a boat safari, the second day a traditional safari and early in the morning of the first day a walking safari (this last one not very interesting); it was a wonderful experince because both the local guide anf the van driver were very professional. Then we moved to Amani Resort were he stayd 3 days. Wonderful place to enjoy the sea and the beach.
In my opinion Savannah Explorers organised our holyday in a fantastic way.

the Safari organized by Savannah is truly organized down to the smallest details, nothing is left to chance, the accommodation facilities are of a high standard. the food, cleanliness, comfort and friendliness at the Marera view and the kifaru tented lodge are truly exceptional and make you fully enjoy your holiday. our guide Thomas led us on a breathtaking safari, introducing us to the heart of Tanzania with its animals and its territory. the experience of more than 15 years in guiding Safaris can be seen and felt, and in an experience of this type it is an essential characteristic. Thomas did his utmost to try to make us see the greatest number of animals, leaving us time to enjoy the view and to take photographs both real and in our memories. as Thomas says, in the serengeti what you will see not only washes your eyes, but above all washes your heart. thank you very much.
