Look no further for the most authentic Tanzanian experience
Mama Anna looks after you like one of her own and ensures you have the most authentic and well-organised Tanzanian experience. From climbing Kilimanjaro, waterfall hikes, safari, airport transfers, meals, to staying with a local family, Mama Anna and her team carefully plan every detail which will leave you desperate to come back from more! Very kind and thoughtful
The trip to Arusha was lovely, with time to visit a waterfall nearby which was an amazing experience!! The tour itself was amazing seeing all the animals however our guide wasn't the nicest but we still had a great time! The host Anna and her team were so kind throughout our stay and served us some really delicious food!

A dream comes true
A dream comes true
We really wanted to go on a safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro this year. So I started looking at different options. We wanted something special, and for three days. The reviews and testimonials from Porcupine Expeditions were so good that we decided to go with them. And we haven't regretted it at all!
We arrived in Arusha from Zanzibar, and our airline canceled and postponed our flights several times, and finally changed our destination airport (from Arusha to Kilimanjaro). None of this was a problem for Anna; she waited for us with her daughter and the driver and picked us up there (it was 8:00 p.m.). Transfer to Arusha and overnight stay in a fine hotel (Arusha Farm House Hotel). The next morning at 7:00 a.m., our guide (Johnas) picked us up, and we set off. What we experienced in those three days far exceeded all our expectations and hopes. With his excellent English, Johnas gave us so many details about the wildlife. He organized everything perfectly and was always able to spot the animals. We saw everything there was to see. And at the end, he brought us safely back to Arusha.
Those were three days we will never forget.
We will recommend this tour to everyone we can.

With this experience, we are considering taking a trip to Kilimanjaro with Anna next year or the year after.

Best Safari experience
I booked my Safari Tour ( 3 days, where 2 are in Serengeti and 1 in Ngorongoro) with Porcupine Expedition not knowing how amazing it would be. The staff is really attentive and fast responsive, and the prices are really good as well (620 USD).
My tour was guided by Jonas, and he was amazing. He had so many curiosities from wild life to share. And the tour went really smooth.
The chef cooked really good food, the infrastructure they provided was also good (camping in tents with a lot of space inside).
By the end of the Tour, I got to know mama Anna. The owner of the company. She is so sweet and caring. She helped me getting in contact with some locals from Zanzibar as well and even gave me a gift (some local paintings).
Thanks so much for the amazing experience! I am recommending this tour to everyone I know that wants to go to a Safari.
The rain season ended up being the best one, because of better prices, there were not many people doing safaris, we didn't get any rain during the Safari and we also managed to see the big 5.

Above and Beyond. Attention to Detail. Friendly, and safe.
Anna went above and beyond to make sure I could get into an excursion last minute. She organized a two day trip to Nrongroro crater and Tarangire NP within an hour of me landing into Kilimanjaro Airport. A tremendous effort of hospitality was demonstrated she took care of everything and left me nothing to worry about. My transport was seemless and the driver Joshua was AMAZING, educative and a jokester. 10/10 experience if i come back to tanzania i will rebook with Anna.

Authentic and warm Tanzania, a real joy! Anna and her family welcomed us and pampered us so well!
We experienced extraordinary moments of sharing, laughter, discovering nature but also discovering the inner beauty of Tanzanians. We are not about to forget! From the first contacts Anna planned everything: at the airport, Joseph (the driver) and Juliana (Anna's daughter) were waiting for us to take us to the hotel, then, after a little rest they kindly showed us around Arusha. The next day we left for a 5-day safari (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) with Thomas, a very professional and experienced driver as well as Coco, a very good cook. Back, Anna organized a day for us at the Materouni waterfalls (+ visit to the coffee plantation, swimming in the natural pool), a day that we shared with Yrine, Philip and Joseph; then the last morning we were taken back to the airport. We flew to Zanzibar leaving a piece of our hearts in Arusha!

Porcupine Expeditions exceeded all of my expectations. From the multiple airport pickups to the airport dropoff. Me and my family was treated as if we were their family. Even prior to our arrival the communication was top teir. Mama Ann and her family made us feel so comfortable with all of our concerns. If you are looking to travel to Tanzania, Porcupine Expeditions is the company for you and yours for all your safari and local tours. We were able to squeeze in our trip the coffee tour, waterfall, and hot springs.

They also took me to the airport for free, moreover Juliana take me stop by the African art gallery and explain the whole things about the gallery

A new African family plus VIPs feeling ( safe and exciting adventure)
If you want to be sure everything goes according to your dreams on safari , be sure that choosing Anna and Porcupine expedition is the best you can do. We had beautiful and safe 3 days safari (Serengeti and NgoroNgoro by the tents) and generally a great stay in Arusha and felt like VIPs and a part of the true family at the same time. This is a great value for money. We will recommend it to all our friends and family and who knows maybe come back again to ask Anna and her fantastic doughter Julie to organise our trip to Kilimanjaro? If we only decide to do it we will think of no one else but Porcupine Expedition :-))))))))
