Very unforgettable Tanzanian safari with a top-class guide!
We just returned from an unforgettable 8-day Migration Safari with Gosheni Safaris Tours, and we can’t say enough good things about our incredible guide, Albert.
From day one, Albert impressed us with his deep knowledge of wildlife, ecosystems, national parks, trees, local tribes, and customs. Every day felt like a masterclass in the wild — from identifying bird calls to explaining animal behavior and sharing fascinating insights about the Maasai and other local cultures.
Albert has a remarkable ability to spot animals from incredible distances. Thanks to his sharp eyes and tireless determination, we had highlight after highlight — lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeest crossings, you name it — all because he never gave up until we saw what we came for. No request was too much, and his genuine enthusiasm made every moment exciting. His patience and passion ensured we didn’t miss a thing!
Beyond his expertise, Albert’s cheerful and uplifting attitude made a lasting impression. Every morning began with his signature bright “Jambo!” and warm smile. No matter how long the drive or how early the start, Albert was always full of energy and positivity — it truly set the tone for each day. He also made us feel completely at ease with his calm, confident, and incredibly safe driving — especially important during long hours on varied terrain. And even during the nights in camp, when we’d hear animal sounds echoing in the dark, Albert could tell us exactly which animal it was and what it meant.
He’s not only highly respected among fellow guides but also naturally builds rapport wherever he goes. We always felt safe and in great, fun company.
We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to the rest of the Gosheni team. From the first airport pickup to our final farewell, every detail was flawlessly managed. The support drivers and staff ensured the tour ran smoothly from start to finish, allowing us to fully immerse in the experience without a single worry.

My wife and I booked a safari in Tanzania through Gosheni Safaris and it was perfect. Our guide, Rodrick, was so knowledgeable. Because of his expertise, we were able to see so many animals. We didn't expect to see every animal, but we did! Rodrick knew where to look and when to be patient to ensure that we saw as much as we could. Rodrick's maneuvering of the Land Cruiser was impressive. We always felt safe when he was driving, whether in the National Parks or in the cities. It was a pleasure sharing breakfasts, lunches, and dinners with Rodrick. My wife and I had a lot of fun getting to know him. He became a real friend.
The people working at the camps and lodges were helpful, professional, and friendly. All questions were answered thoroughly and all tasks were taken care of - even when we asked them to close our tent flaps in the howling wind and pitch black! The food at the camps and lodges was healthy and tasty. The accommodations were very clean and very comfortable.
There are so many positive aspects of our trip that I could write about. Ultimately, our experience with Gosheni Safaris was 11/10. Thank you to our contact at Gosheni Safaris, Norah, and our friend Rodrick for ensuring that we had the best experience we could have hoped for.

Perfect
Calvin was the best guide we could have had on this trip. He was always on the lookout for unusual animals and would stop whenever necessary to take photos. He was always in a great mood and had a smile on his face.
He always picked the best spots for us to see the animals and take photos.
He happily set up and cleared away the lunch table.
He explained the wildlife in detail and always answered our questions.

A perfectly planned safari in tanzania with top class driver
We planned a few months back our trip (2 families with 2 kids each). We received all information and plans on time with several offers so we could adjust to our specific needs. Everything was delivered according to plan. Driver loderick was very helpfull and always looked for delivering the best we could have every day.

Unforgettable Experience with Rodrick!
My husband and I had the most unforgettable experience with Gosheni Safaris and our wonderful guide, Rodrick. Prior to the trip, Norah was extremely helpful as our Gosheni contact. She was flexible and created different itineraries for us while we were trying to find flight dates. Norah always responded to our emails within 24 hours. After booking, there was another stop we wanted to make, and Norah quickly and efficiently added the stop into our existing itinerary.
We are forever grateful to our expert guide, Rodrick. Rodrick is a true gentleman. He is patient, helpful, and a real expert in his field. His knowledge of the animals is astounding, and my husband and I learned so, so much. Rodrick is a very safe and skillful driver who navigates the roads of the Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater as smoothly as possible. Rodrick understands animal behaviour very well and because of this, we were able to see some very special sights. It was obvious that Rodrick has a deep appreciation and love for his country, its people, and its animals. We are going to miss Rodrick very much!
Joseph, the translator who accompanied us to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, was a kind, smart man with a great sense of humour. He helped us have very meaningful conversations with the people there. The Gosheni Safaris drivers who drove us from the airport upon arrival and to the airport for our departure arrived for our pick-ups promptly.
The lodges and camps we stayed at through Gosheni Safaris were clean, comfortable, and beautiful. Arusha Planet Lodge, Serian Tarangire Camp, Enkirari Wilderness Camp, Embalakai Ngorongoro Camp, and Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge were awesome places to stay with very kind people working there. They were all in perfect locations either very close to or INSIDE the national parks. Very fun!
Ultimately, Tanzania is a very special place. Its animals and history are breathtaking, and its people treat you with kindness. My husband and I are still processing our trip. We are so grateful for the experience in Tanzania with Gosheni Safaris, Norah, and Rodrick. We will be back one day! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
