Wonderful Christmas in Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti
We had our first Safari ever booked with Gosheni, starting from Arusha. We didn’t have that much time so we chose to do a 3-day Safari, going to Ngorongoro Crater (day 1) and Serengeti (day 2 & 3). Gosheni safaris was really helpful and convenient in the process of booking as they helped us planning everything right within our budget and time. Although 3 days is not much, they definitely took it all to make our Safari unforgettable (we even saw the Big Five!). Our guide Wilson was really nice and taught us a lot about the surroundings, the animals and life in Tanzania. He really made us feel like family. Also, the lodges exceeded our expectations and were very comfortable and clean, with good food and nice people. We couldn’t have wished for a better Christmas this year. Thanks Gosheni and Wilson for making this wonderful adventure happen!

He was so genuine, so fun, and so knowledgeable.
Going on a Tanzanian Safari has always been a bucket list trip I always wanted to try, but I didn’t think it could be this good.
Gosheni Safaris went well beyond our expectations. From gladly helping us when we had troubles with flights and being so polite and friendly, we will never safari with another company now.
Our tour guide Ombeni only helped to improve our experience. He was so genuine, so nice, so accommodating, we enjoyed every second of with him. This doesn’t even include the breathtaking wildlife he showed us with the interesting facts about Tanzania. We saw unbelievable wildlife in the safari, had countless, and played a ton of card games with Ombeni. Truly a one of a kind experience and guide.

The best company and the best guide
For our first safari we were certainly a bit anxious. Did we book the right lodging? Did we pack the right clothes? Are we going to see any animals?
Rest assured Gosheni had everything covered. Our contact Pendo was in constant contact making sure we knew what to bring and what to expect. Even when our travel plans changed Pendo spring in to action to make sure we had an activity booked while we waited a day for the rest of our party.
Finally we started the safari. What an incredible experience all made possible by our guide Ombeni. Ombeni was incredible and I honestly couldn’t imagine a safari without him. He answered all of our questions no matter how ridiculous and made sure we got the best views of all of the animals on our list. Once we had seen everything we wanted, we gave him a challenge…. Find the rarer animals like a leopard. No problem for Ombeni. Then another challenge… try and find a mating ritual. Again no problem for Ombeni. He spotted a couple of ostrich and took us close for a view of the courting ritual and mating. Finally we had one final challenge… a hunt. This one we thought would surely stump him. But of course Ombeni came through. He found us a cheetah with her cubs and before long she was on the move. Only a few seconds later she was in full sprint quickly followed by the takedown. It was really incredible to see.
I’ll certainly miss our game drives and meals with Ombeni and I can absolutely say I won’t do another safari unless it’s with him as our guide.

Incredible Company
I could not recommend a better company to work with. Pendo was amazing from the start - I worked with her for 8 months leading up to the trip and she was patient in answering all of my questions. She continued to be accommodating when half our party got delayed by 1.5 days. On the safari we had an incredible experience. Could not recommend Ombeni more as a tour guide. He showed us everything we wanted and more! He became part of our tour crew - we enjoyed eating dinners and playing cards with him.

The absolute best guide in Tanzania!
We did this trip with another couple and had an incredible time! Gosheni was very helpful and accommodating with last minute changes due to travel issues. Pendo was great to work with. All of the accommodations were amazing - tents were massive with en-suite bathrooms, food was delicious and the views were beautiful!
Our guide, Ombeni, was the absolute best! He was very knowledgeable and well connected with other guides so he always knew where the best stuff was. We saw everything that we wanted to see and more! Highly recommend requesting him to be your guide when you book with Gosheni!

Wonderful safari tour through the South of Tanzania
We came to Gosheni Safaris through internet research not knowing they are the Award Winning and Leading Tour Operator of Tanzania in 2021. We were on a 11 days, 10 nights safari through the South of Tanzania guided by the the wonderful Fidelis, an experienced and thoughtful guide for a perfect safari tour. After finishing the safari we can only confirm that Gosheni Safaris, presented by Fidelis and team, were the right choice! The safari was customized to all we wanted to see and organized very well, considering we booked only few days in advance (thanks to Pendo in the Gosheni Office!)! Fidelis introduced us to the wildlife in the South of Tanzania with a lot of background information and a very good eye for the hidden animals in the distance! Even though it was very dry and a difficult situation for most of the animals, he showed us neraly every animal living in Mikumi/Ruaha/Nyere. With his experience and the respectful and peaceful way to treat the wilderness he made our game drives a wonderful tour! The accomodation was well chosen, Fidelis organized cool drinks for us to survive the heat and adapted to the tour daily to our needs and wishes.
For the next trip to Tanzania we will not have to make an effort to find the right tour operator, we will simply call Gosheni Safaris, because it was a blast to travel with you. Thanks again to Gosheni and especially to Fidelis! Asante sana!

William was kind, caring, fun and incredibly knowledgeable.
After many hours of research my husband and I chose Gosheni Safaris to help us plan our trip of a lifetime to Tanzania. They are a locally owned Tanzania safari company. Peter the owner helped us plan the perfect itinerary for our 7 day safari experience! We were greeted at the airport after an extremely long flight from Canada with refreshments and snacks! Our AMAZING guide was William. William was kind, caring, fun and extremely knowledgeable about all of the different species and areas we visited. Plus he has been a guide for many years so he has great safari stories!! He worked extremely hard to ensure our safari experience was one to remember! We were extremely lucky to view all of the many animals on our safaris including 4 incredible leopard sightings. It was ine if the greatest adventures I have had
We came to Tanzania as a family of five. The main goal of the trip was to learn more about the local animals, so we had a 8 day personalised safari organised by Pendo suitable just for our needs.
During the trip, we have visited several nationational parks, seen lives of different tribes.
Special thank you to our driver-guide Ombeni, who has helped to make this trip trully unforgetable - he has great eye for locations, as well as for the best spots for wild life photography. Due to his knowledge of a local environment and guidance we come back home with full memory cards of great pictures. Ombeni helped us see su much more animals from much closier than I have ever expected.
Would definitely recommend both - agency and guide Ombeni for everyone!

A great trip
Ombeni was a amazing guide! He was knowledgeable in all the animals we saw and always seem to know where the next sighting was going to be and by the end of our trip we got our fill of animals. Pendo was our booking agent and she did a great job of customizing our trip and addressed any questions we had before and during the adventure. I would highly recommend Gosheni as a tour company, they made the vacation that much special.
